I just got my copy of the game in the mail a few days ago, however, it appears to be the JP version. If I were to patch this with my cart, would anything go wrong?

in the ReAddcont folder you have to have the DLC and then just add the translation files and overwrite it so it works normal.

So, I'm going to join the list of people that can't get the readdcont working.
No matter what I do, when I add the readdcont the game crashes when I try to start it. I even tried this suggestion:
in the ReAddcont folder you have to have the DLC and then just add the translation files and overwrite it so it works normal.
and it didn't work. Out of ideas.

Hi, thanks for your effort, but unfortunately the game crashes after I added the translation files!!
Any help please?! It would be highly appreciated.

So is this working? Those instructions are greek to me. Could anyone type out instructions to someone who has never patched a ps4 game before? Last time I patched a game was PS2 and I used swap magic haha.

So I dunno who will care about this at this point but I got the DQXI DLC working.

Basically, rePatch-redux v3.0 and this game don't get along when it comes to DLC. The only way to fix it is to fully decrypt the DLC, then copy the translation files over it and put the whole thing in reAddcont (you don't need the DQXI DLC in Addcont anymore, however)

1) Copy your DQXI DLC files to your PC and decrypt them using this guide: https://github.com/TheRadziu/NoNpDR...drm-rips-through-psvpfstools-decryption-on-pc

2) Copy the contents of the ACCON-etc folder inside this translation's reAddcont folder over the newly decrypted DLC files. It should replace a few files.

3) Copy the entire decrypted DLC+translation to your Vita's reAddcont folder. Feel free to delete the DQXI DLC from Addcont now if you have it, it's not necessary anymore.

If you did it right, you should have the DQXI DLC working fine with the translation. Easy way to check if going to character select.

I didn't test older versions of rePatch because messing with older versions just for this one game sounds like a pain. I hope my instructions were clear enough for anyone else who's picking this game up now though, like my late ass.

So I got this to work following this guy's method but in a simpler way, here are his steps but adjusted to what I did:

These steps assume you already have the DLC downloaded on your Vita

1) Open Vitashell, go to "addcont" find PCSH10065 and press triangle, choose "open decrypted" and copy the files to a new file which you will rename to PCSH10065 after you delete the existing file with the same name.
NOTE: IF you get an error when you choose "open decrypted" then skip step 1!

2) Copy the contents of the ACCON-etc folder inside this translation's reAddcont folder over to the PCSH10065 folder in "addcont". It may replace a few files.

3) Copy the entire the folder in "addcont" named PCSH10065 to your Vita's reAddcont folder.

If you did it right, you should have the DQXI DLC working fine with the translation. Easy way to check if going to character select.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Sadly, I wasn't good enough to get that running (didn't understand the command line wording) so didn't get it to work. That's awesome you figured it out though.

Turned off the DLC, and playing just fine. Thanks OP!

The steps above may help you
