Is migrate sxos to atmosphere make all xci game unplayable ?Its pretty easy use a modfied sxgear
XCI files can be installed. Not as practical as just mounting them, but still a perfectly good solution. Is migrate sxos to atmosphere make all xci game unplayable ?
Another question , can i delete emutendo ?XCI files can be installed. Not as practical as just mounting them, but still a perfectly good solution.
Emutendo was used by SXOS, I believe, so if you're still using SXOS, don't touch it. Otherwise, just test it. (have a backup, just in case).Another question , can i delete emutendo ?
Yes, xci isnt supportedHow ?

In atmosphere , can i use 3 sd card for games ?Emutendo was used by SXOS, I believe, so if you're still using SXOS, don't touch it. Otherwise, just test it. (have a backup, just in case).
Install tinfoil and you have no need for xci or nsp as it downloads and installs on your console like eshop would.Modders REALLY need to release an XCI launcher "sig-patch" for Atmosphere, since TX is basically dead now. I don't feel like converting my entire XCI collection into the inferior NSP container type.
In Atmosphere, you can use however many SD cards you want to store games. However, if you're using an emuMMC, then you can only use the games that are on the SD card with that emuMMC.In atmosphere , can i use 3 sd card for games ?
Wait, Tinfoil turned into FreeShop now?Install tinfoil and you have no need for xci or nsp as it downloads and installs on your console like eshop would.
Always kinda had been. You add respiratories from the communities out there that dump them and add them to gdrives and other hosting sites. You could even host your own if you wanted to. Thats the basicsWait, Tinfoil turned into FreeShop now?
Wouldn't it still take NSP's from the repositories and install those?Always kinda had been. You add respiratories from the communities out there that dump them and add them to gdrives and other hosting sites. You could even host your own if you wanted to. Thats the basics
Tinfoil isnt slow, look at changing your settings.Wouldn't it still take NSP's from the repositories and install those?
Also installing over wlan is slow AF and unreliable. I just use my laptop to download XCI's directly to my USB SSD as fast as my ISP allows (1Gbps). Then I connect the USB SSD to my switch and install at my convenience using SX Launcher from album.
This is what Atmosphere fanboys fail to realize. The whole point of SX OS is convenience. Built in installer. Built in XCI loader. Built in sigpatches. It's not meant to be a diss to Atmosphere, but just an enhanced fork of it.
Well, yeah. The wifi would make the installing tinfoil slower than just using the XCI. But the method would still be wayyyyy slower regardless of whether it's the app or the hardware. It's just inefficient in comparison to USB.Tinfoil isnt slow, look at changing your settings.
Its the problem with nintendos chea shit wifi card and settings.
Yes sx os is convenient as its a single file and that it, but its safe to say its now abandoned, no distribution and sales of chips means the guys updating the firmware wont work for free.
It would be handy if atmos could mount usb drives to install games directly to
Exactly right. It's a shame that Michael is so against piracy, or else we'd have all the best of SX OS preinstalled for free, sigpatches and all. I'm kind of upset that nobody has made a fork of Atmosphere with the sigpatches already included in the installer. Seems like a no-brainer to get noobs off on the right foot.Wouldn't it still take NSP's from the repositories and install those?

I thought not including the patches and enabling piracy was more of a legal issue. Not explicitly being against piracy. Also, weren't there a few "AIO" packages out there? Actually, aren't there right now?Exactly right. It's a shame that Michael is so against piracy, or else we'd have all the best of SX OS preinstalled for free, sigpatches and all. I'll be honest, I haven't touched my banned CFW switch in almost a year, so I'm able bit out of the loop. There just haven't been many good games coming out lately.I thought not including the patches and enabling piracy was more of a legal issue. Not explicitly being against piracy.
