Well, yeah. The wifi would make the installing tinfoil slower than just using the XCI. But the method would still be wayyyyy slower regardless of whether it's the app or the hardware. It's just inefficient in comparison to USB.
I read in another thread that SXOS is pretty close to being completely reverse engineered.
but your been a moaning
[email protected] making out its terrible, in fact its not, if you know what your doing you can download games pretty fast.
xci loading is irrelevant, the time it takes you to download it on your pc, copy to a usb hdd, or install - users would have already downloaded/installed in one smooth task.
sx os hasnt been reverse engineered, there is a guy who can trick the activation process, there are clone chips surfacing, no one is going to waste time updataing sx os when its not needed, atmos does exactly the same job - minus xci which is a big no go but thats something you can read up about at a later date.
--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------
You won't get it from team reswtich, as SciresM doesn't support piracy, the closest thing to USB mounting was FSP-USB by Xortroll but the project was archived.
im not fussed about the feature, i could see advantage with sx os and xci - but to remain on sx os when its now a dead service is pointless.
you can use the likes of tinfoil and install games with no problem at all, the above guy bitching about speed should look at his settings or get a better isp, games dont take long at all.
