1. You can create a folder call NSP and put nsp file inside, you have to navigate to that folder when installing

2. When you unzip the rar file into a folder, copy that folder of update files into your SD, navigate to where it is in daybreak and then update. You can use the Hekate USB mounting feature to copy files over.

Hi again, I put an NSP folder on the root of my sd card with an .nsp game inside I see the folder but i don't see the game inside.
Can you tell me by steps on how to do it. I installed Awoo isn't that the program I use to launch nsp games??

Thanks

you need matching patches that go along with your bootloader, so fusee patches if you use fusee-primary and hekate/fss0 patches if you use hekate as your bootloader.

Yes I'm using Hektate - sorry not 100% sure what you are saying though about patches.

you need the es patches to load games, good chance it is not loading because you don't have the patches on your SD card.

Ok I'll try downloading the Hektate / Atmosphere folders again.
To be clear (on my end) I put a folder named NSP with the game inside and place it on the root of my SD card, then I select Awoo and that's how I can play the games??

*Note* I still can't get it to work !!

Make sure you put the patches in the folder structure as the one in the zip file, if you don't use the correct bootloader with the correct patches, the game won't boot.

For some reason the News app isn't getting updated in my sysMMC. All other online services are working perfectly. This doesn't seem to be a known issue, would there be any fix? Or does this have something to do with the latest update having issues?

I have followed all the steps outlined in https://rentry.co/SwitchHackingIsEasy to put Hekate and Atmosphere. I have used the latest versions and I believe my folder structure is correct.

After bootking hekate and trying to load Atmosphere I get the sequence seen in this video. After the Atmos logos it takes literal minutes to get to the Nintendo Switch screen, from which the CFW never finishes to boot and eventually goes on a blank screen.

This is a newly formatted Mini SD card, although it's on the oldish side, circa 2012.

What could I do to debug this behavior, and maybe apply a fix? I have tried the obvious ones of repeating the process, and SysNand boots just okay.

How long is it possible that newer FW games can be "patched" to keep working on SX 11.0?

You should switch to Atmosphere, newer games require higher firmware, it is based on the firmware the sdk use when it was in development. Bypass method doesn't work newer games.

Ok, so what does a "patched" game do then? What is the point of a patched game?

you have minimum firmware requirement for game, the bypass method doesn't work for newer game, so if you want to newer game above 11.0.0 you would have to update, SX OS is dead.

Ok, I hadve a microsd card that ai used for my switch, but I ran out of space so I bought a 256gb microsd cardwhich was a Switch exclusive(Yellow) but when I try to transfer my files over to it, my jailbroken switch doesn't read it, and it won't format to Fat32.when start the switch normally, there's no problem with the sd card, except it doesnt show whats on the card, but when I try to go to RCM mode I get a Fatal error [NXBOOT] failed to mount EmuMMC from SD card partition

Any advice - I just recently switched from SXOS to Atmosphere. I never had any problems with my 1TB micro card until now. Not sure if because I had to format my card from exFat to Fat32. But it won't allow me to add bigger games without it saying "I Need More Space" like I said its a legit 1TB micro card I've used for months now.

Thanks anyone

Do usb install, you don't need to copy game to SD to install.

I'm getting fatal error occurred when running Atmosphere. I used the AIO updater to update Atmosphere and Hekate then ran system update like normal. After the error I downloaded everything manually and replaced all the files on PC and I'm still having the issue. Is there something obvious that I'm missing?
