So the other day I was watching a review. To decide if someone was to watch the film the question was asked "do you have a sword in your room?". Seemed like a good question in general and as I am not going to be able to ask it at parties or pubs for a while to strike up conversation (it might be my new pickup line though).
Wooden practice swords is within the scope, wall art that would snap if you hit someone with it is fine, and I will also accept decently sized knives if they are reasonably considered or used as offensive weapons (think machete, kukri and so forth, as cool as karambit are they don't count here). Has to be a stabby or slicey long bladed thing -- no spears, staves, nunchucks, canes (unless sword cane of course), sai or the like count. "I would like to have a sword but don't" can still join in, but might want to think about sorting that out.
Don't need pictures but if you want then by all means share.
Sadly my metal swords got lost in a house move (only thing that was as well). There is one without a blade in the fireplace, and I have a wooden sword. Do also have a kukri.
