So I starting seeing what else I could mess around with in Dragon's Crown and I just remembered that there was a PS3 version of DC so I went over to the PS3 boards and just my luck, someone made a save editor for Dragon's Crown for the PS3. https://gbatemp.net/threads/dragons-crown-ps3-eu-us-bsd-item-patch.360638/

What's great about this is in that thread list a lot of item values for this game and since both versions of Dragon's Crown are almost the same, this was a huge help for me at finding weapon addresses. tl;dr Custom weapon skill codes!! And yep I made a couple too. From what I can tell the equipment addresses don't seem to change, I even checked all my old dumps and they were all the same so I was able to make a code that I haven't tested yet. I have messed with the memory addresses and managed to edit 1 of my weapons.

I'd just like to post my findings so far

Everything in the PS3 save editor topic used save files to look at addresses. Since we have vitacheat and dumps, things will look a bit different compared to the save editor topic but values are still the same. Since we also have the option of viewing dumps without restarting the game, I was able to get a semi live view of my currently running game. Thankfully a poster name

For the magic prefix(the weapon skills) you just replace the xxxx with the skill you want. 43FF seems to be the max strengthening a skill can have(FF 43 in the dump and pic) so you can leave everything as is.Before anyone slaps these codes into their database, I want to mention some issues.

Firstly, I'm not sure if these codes are character slot based or class base. Reading the save editor topic people mentioned that addresses may be different based on character slots which is based on character created ex) Your first character on one of your save files is a Fighter with an address like 85A and if you make a 2nd Fighter they will get address 85B and so on

Because of this I may have confused myself for years on how things work in Dragon's Crown and my Amazon HP code might not be for Amazon but for character slot 1:blush:. I wish someone would have told me this sooner lol.

Next issue is with the following magic prefix code, it doesn't add new skills(yet). For example you have a weapon with only 3 skills on it and you used the code to try to give that weapon 4 or more skill, its not going to add them. Reading the save editor topic mentioned that there is an specific address I need to change in order for us to add new skills but I just haven't found it yet. It doesn't seem like something simple like adding 08 so the game might use a different value to represent 8 slots.

I'll work more on the code later today as I need sleep. If things work out well, this might require another topic to discus.

So I starting seeing what else I could mess around with in Dragon's Crown and I just remembered that there was a PS3 version of DC so I went over to the PS3 boards and just my luck, someone made a save editor for Dragon's Crown for the PS3. https://gbatemp.net/threads/dragons-crown-ps3-eu-us-bsd-item-patch.360638/

What's great about this is in that thread list a lot of item values for this game and since both versions of Dragon's Crown are almost the same, this was a huge help for me at finding weapon addresses. tl;dr Custom weapon skill codes!! And yep I made a couple too. From what I can tell the equipment addresses don't seem to change, I even checked all my old dumps and they were all the same so I was able to make a code that I haven't tested yet. I have messed with the memory addresses and managed to edit 1 of my weapons.

I have not tested these codes so be sure to make a backup until I can get to them later today!!!
For the magic prefix(the weapon skills) you just replace the xxxx with the skill you want. 43FF seems to be the max strengthening a skill can have(FF 43 in the dump and pic) so you can leave everything as is.Before anyone slaps these codes into their database, I want to mention some issues.

Firstly, I'm not sure if these codes are character slot based or class base. Reading the save editor topic people mentioned that addresses may be different based on character slots which is based on character created ex) Your first character on one of your save files is a Fighter with an address like 85A and if you make a 2nd Fighter they will get address 85B and so on

Because of this I may have confused myself for years on how things work in Dragon's Crown and my Amazon HP code might not be for Amazon but for character slot 1:blush:. I wish someone would have told me this sooner lol.

Next issue is with the following magic prefix code, it doesn't add new skills(yet). For example you have a weapon with only 3 skills on it and you used the code to try to give that weapon 4 or more skill, its not going to add them. Reading the save editor topic mentioned that there is an specific address I need to change in order for us to add new skills but I just haven't found it yet. It doesn't seem like something simple like adding 08 so the game might use a different value to represent 8 slots.

I'll work more on the code later today as I need sleep. If things work out well, this might require another topic to discus.

Really all I did was use google, who would have guess that the answer was right under our noses a few threads down:rofl:. I'm really starting to understand more about this game though. From what I can tell, addresses pretty much stay the same in the hub town but it does swap in memory between 2 addresses from time to time when you restart the game. Inside dungeons however change all the time and still need to pay attention to the address swap. Knowing that the memory swaps, I used iv2b's score code to see where the address is currently at and from there I just use conditions. So pretty much I wouldn't have made it this far without his codes.

I use a 1k model vita and those use shitty property cables and what's worse is they are known to be faulty. I gotta get a replacement so I won't be able to get back to Dragon's Codes for a few days.

Also did some googling and found out you could mod in a female USB type c port into the vita, seems kind of neat and way better than sticking with these crap property cables.

@monodevil sorry,you can't use a microusb cable and charger(same voltage or lower)the one for smartphones as i do with my PS Vita,instead of using the original one,or the USB port for charge of the PS Vita Fat(1000)is different from the Slim(2000)?

Can someone give me codes for 999/infinite HP for Dana (Lacrimosa of Dana (PCSE01103 v1.02)) please? I did follow the vitacheat float tutorial couldn't get any working codes. I'm at a part where Dana is the only playable character so the codes would have to work there. I can upload a save file if that helps.

Sorry @monodevil ,i didn't know i thought that the PS Vita 1000 had a USB port like the PS Vita 2000,then you have to buy a new one and the solution that i have proposed is useless.
