No problems; the last 3DS update already is a few months old. If there were any significant problems we would know by now. Previous versions 10.x of Luma crash; latest version fixed the incompatibility.

Check:

1. Does SD:/luma/payloads/GodMode9.firm exist? (And of course the SD:/gm9 folder containing the scripts as well)
2. Does it say Booted from SD via B9S on the bottom of the lower screen when holding (Select) on power on?
3. Does the (Start) button work?

Edit: I see you added a picture which answers question 2. Latest Luma3DS is loaded normally from SD which is good. Save the settings and try on next boot.

Well, sorry for interrupting, But i had a lot of time with my hacked 3DS, so i can tell you [almost] EVERYTHING you need to know if you want.. BTW, copying to CTRnand is not essential but very recommended, And you can do that with FBI [with the 'Dump NAND' Option. updating to the latest firmware is completely safe if you have the 2.1.0 Ver of luma.

Holding start on the next boot stay on a black screen.

Does godmode needs an update ?

After multiple boots i cant access godmode, holding start stay on a black screen.

Do i need to toggle an option on luma setting ?

godmode use to work so i dont know what is wrong know

Updating godmode fixes it

A DS-mode flashcard, perharps (you don't have to modify or install a CFW on your console, but afaik you must pre-patch your DS roms with the hack you want)

If you buy/adcquire a recently manufactured DS mode flashcart (from 2014 to this date, to be exact) you'll be fine.

BTW, here you find a post with some of the recommended DS mode flashcards. Check it, please!

A quick noob question, while downloading some games i realized a few have the .3ds extension instead of the usual .cia such as Ace Attorney Trilogy, or zelda minish cap, anyone knows hot to install them? they have a note saying cia eShop and im a little confused about what to do

.3ds is gateway only. not sure why it mentions the eshop, but they're supposed to be retail carts. they won't work with luma, only gateway. there's a way to turn them into cia, but you need a gateway cart for that.

I have a tutorial, I think, on converting .3ds to .cia on psx place. I couldn't remember if it was like saves where you had to have the cart. it's very old though, possibly using decrypt9 or hourglass instead of godmode.

I'm a bit confused on what to use with my R4 SDHC Revolution GOLD Pro RTS carts. I want to play DS games on my old DS/DS Lite. I believe that mine have a time bomb in them. This is it, but the 2020 version. I regret supporting individuals like that, but it's my fault for not looking into it more.

If I can't use the WoodR4, I should use YSmenu instead, right? I'm not sure if I am setting it up correctly. Download the Kernel from here, use SD formatter, Multi-Card Update, and that's it? Did I miss anything?
