Why are the LayeredFS patches not linked in the main post? People are asking for them on various boards I am on, and they should be legally available, but instead the OP refers to a dead piracy forum.
Why the hell does it matter? If its something that contains copyright info then its not something that can be posted here. It aint these peoples issues. Its the head admins you should be asking.

Hello bungiefan, there's noting that this patch does that you can't do yourself. You need a tool like this one written by Asia81, and use it on both the Japanese and USA versions of the game. This spits out a list of folders with the game files in them. Copy the game files from the Japanese version to the USA version and then rebuild the ROM using the tools.

Sadly, there's still some things that haven't been patched, like the icon select for the Hawkeye class, which isn't as easy to change. I hope Asia81 will come back here someday and provide his opinion on the best way to modify it.

Hello everyone, I have solved the mystery of the missing Hawkeye icon. As I suspected, you need to extract the contents of crowd.fs in the USA version, using quickbms and a script from vg-resource.com written by einstein95, which I have uploaded to this post in the file einstein95.zip. Extract quickbms from the zip file I included, right click on einstein95.bms, select 'open with' and select quickbms.exe. Double-click on einstein95.bms, select 'crowd.fs' from the USA version, and pick a folder to extract the contents into. You should a list of files called icon, icon_en, icon_de, etc.

Do the same as above with the crowd.fs file from the Japanese version of the game. Copy the files called 'icon' and 'icon32' to the USA version folder. Then create another copy of 'icon', rename it to 'icon_en' and copy it over to the USA version folder to replace the 'icon_en' that's already there. Do this for each language, i.e. you need to do it for icon_de, icon_fr and so on. You can tell the difference because the Japanese icon file is 25kb in size, while the USA version that you are replacing is 28kb in size.

When you are done, double-click the reimport.bat included in the quickbms folder, and do the same steps as you did in the beginning to extract the files. I know it's confusing, but this means that after double-clicking reimport.bat, you'll have to select einstein95's script, then crowd.fs, and then the folder where you extracted the files you originally, as if you were doing it all over again. This will replace the original crowd.fs with a new crowd.fs containing your imported files.

Use Asia81's HackingToolkit9DS (included in PackEnglishV12.rar) to rebuild the file, then decrypt it using the Batch Cia 3DS Decryptor that I uploaded to this post. When you run this 3DS file in Citra, you should be able to see the feather icon on Hawkeye's job selection screen just as it was in the Japanese version.

In case anyone is having difficulty following the tutorial above, I've linked the modified files in this post. These are just the texture files and not the full game, so you'll need to extract the contents of your ROM using HackingToolkit9DS, then replace the Graphics folder inside ExtractedRomFS with the Graphics folder from my 7zip file. Then run HackingToolkit9DS again and press "R" to rebuild your ROM. Note that this ROM is encrypted, so you will still need to decrypt the file using Batch CIA 3DS Decryptor for it to work with Citra.

If you want to build a CIA instead, then you will have to use GodMode9 on your 3DS instead, as any CIA made with HackingToolkit9DS will be corrupted and won't work. Rebuild your ROM as a 3DS file using the instructions above, but don't decrypt it. Instead, use NDSTokyoTrim on your rebuilt 3DS file so you can copy it to your SD card, then boot into GodMode9. Select the 3DS file, press A, then select “NCSD image options…”, then select “Build CIA from file”.

The Bravely Default Graphics folder can be found here.

The Bravely Second Graphics folder can be found here.

Pardon the stupid question, but is there anyone that could PM where to find the patch files? I understood that they can't be shared publicly here, but I couldn't find them anywhere I looked and I going a little bit nuts.

Hello CinderBH, I thought that it was clear from my previous post that the graphics dump is to be used with a legally dumped ROM to create the uncensored version. If you still don't understand, I'll try to explain it in a simpler way:

1. Extract the contents of your Bravely Default/Bravely Second ROM using HackingToolkit9DS. It looks like this:

687474703a2f2f6e736133392e636173696d616765732e636f6d2f696d672f323031382f30322f32302f3138303232303036323533313430363431382e706e67

So step one is to run HackingToolkit9DS in the same directory as your ROM, then press D on your keyboard. This will produce a folder called ExtractedRomFS containing the extracted ROM files.

2. Inside ExtractedRomFS, find a folder called "Graphics". This contains the censored outfits. Replace this with the "Graphics" folder that I linked to in my previous post, which contains uncensored outfits. Click here for Bravely Default and here for Bravely Second.

3. Run HackingToolkit9DS again and press "R" to rebuild your ROM with the uncensored outfits. You will need to use a seperate tool like Batch CIA 3DS Decryptor to decrypt the newly uncensored ROM so that Citra can open it.

4. If you want to build a CIA instead, don't decrypt the ROM as in step 3. Instead, use NDSTokyoTrim to reduce the ROM size, then copy it to your 3DS SD card. You need to trim it because otherwise the ROM will be too big for the FAT32 file system used on 3DS SD cards.

5. Boot into GodMode9. Select the 3DS file, press A, then select “NCSD image options…”, then select “Build CIA from file”. You should now have an installable CIA file with the uncensored outfits. I have tested this method on my own 3DS.

I apologise if this is difficult to follow, but ROM hacking is quite complicated and I've already done the hardest part for you. If you follow the instructions above, then you won't need the patch files at all, since this creates the same ROM that the patch files would have made.

Hey guys, I'm kind of a noob at this stuff, but I've been working on making a nude patch for Bravely Default - Flying Fairy with the uncensored textures added from the JP version. I currently have the outfits other the starter one done, but the vestal outfit is not quite finished. If anyone knows how to edit the models, or make transparencies in a texture stay when re-adding to a bcres file let me know. When using custom textures in Citra the transparencies work, but when I add them to the bcres and run them in the rom itself, they revert.

Thanks a ton man, this seems to work BUT the only thing I'll add is that the HackingToolkit9DS program itself is not very good and will always produce blank .3ds files when done this way (at least for me) so what you gotta do is this: after extracting your Bravely Default cia with HackingToolkit9DS, go into your ExtraTools folder and open 3DSBuilderMod.exe and rebuild your .3ds file using that instead (say yes to whatever prompts it gives you). It seems to automatically trim it, too, so you shouldn't need to do that for it to work. Proceed to convert it to a .cia as extherian describes here using your 3DS and you should be good to go

Hi, i'm trying to extract the game, but the tools dont give me the "ExtractedRomFS" folder, but only a bunch of .bin files, like "DecryptedRomFS.bin". Why?
Ok i've dumped directly my phisical game and now works. Thank you

Really appreciate you putting the files together, but I was wondering if you could tell me which of them are necessary for the uncensoring for both Default and Second since it looks like this is all the graphics files? I want to cut it down to the bare minimum for a LayeredFS patch since I'm strapped for space on my SD card, but I'm not sure myself which of them are unaltered and redundant.

If anyone wants an already cleaned up LayeredFS patch following FGFlann's list above, feel free to download these:
Bravely Default Uncensored LayeredFS Patch
Bravely Second Uncensored LayeredFS Patch

Note: If using the USA ver of the game, make sure to change the title ID, these are setup for EUR BD/BS.

Feel free to also use the savefile posted at the bottom of this post, which has all the JPN Exclusive costumes added already just at the beginning of the game.

I wanted to point out that this is not a complete uncensor.
Airy's humanoid form is still censored, this is what she's supposed to look like:

And this is what she looks like in the censored western version (including this "uncensored" patch):

Are you sure? I have yet to play both games (thus I'm not sure if it is all working "properly", the costumes are), but this is the texture I have for her in the files posted above:
