ROM Hack new 3ds custom-install sd path error

Hello.

I tried today for first time to install a cia from pc directly to 3ds using custom-install. I read the tutorials and watched a video on youtube on how to use it and it all went smoothly. No error no nothing. I did exactly the same steps, and it didn't work for me.

As the console output said, you have many <id1> folders onto the <id0> folder. Then you must delete the remaining/unuseful <id1> folders and keep only one.

If you don't know what exactly <id1> folder keep, then rename temporaly the "Nintendo 3DS" folder on your SD card with another name, then put back the SD card into the console and turn it on until HOME Menu loads. Now turn off the console, remove the SD card, get back to the PC and search into the new "Nintendo 3DS" created folder. The first folder with hexadecimal types is your <id0>, and the folder onto <id0> with hexadecimal types is your <id1> (the exactly name of the folder that you should keep)... Finally delete the recently created "Nintendo 3DS" folder, rename back again your old folder as "Nintendo 3DS" and go onto <id0> folder and delete the remaining folders except the concordant <id1>

PS2: Are you using 3DSBank or a EmuNand?

I don't know what is 3dsbank. I use luma, godmode9. I will try what you told me to do. I am not sure exactly what you meant but I will try and post here the results. Because I don't really know what the id0 and id1 folders are.

UPDATE: I read on wiki what is the id1 folders. I kept the biggest folder, I assumed that this was the place with all my games. I backed the other two folder somewhere else.
