I suppose that "rom cia" is about "dumping from game physical cartridges" cias, and "eshop rom cia" is about "dumping from eShop only available digital content" cias. And yes, both are referring to .cia format files (installable with FBI).

But, is better if you don't ask more for this kind of topics, having in account the forum rules about warez and piracy

Sorry, but getting/installing cias from webpages are under your own responsability and, again, suggesting or talking about it is against the forum rules (read them).

also, what will happen if I update my 3ds without updating anything ?(I mean without updating luma3ds,...)

without updating luma, you might get an error. don't try uninstalling everything as there's a high degree of brick if you try to.

Also is a european CIA (I live in Europe)better than a free region CIA ? (I mean for ban risk)

it shouldn't matter, but region free is still tailored to its own region technically, meaning that if you try updating using the normal method, it will only work if the original region was Europe.

only if it's the same region as the system. that's where region free is misleading.

Also when you mean I will get an error if I update the 3ds without updating luma3ds... Do you mean that it will say that the console can’t be updated or the console won’t work after that ?

it will probably be an arm11 error. all you have to do to fix it is put a new boot.firm on the sd card.

I don't know about hide them, but I wouldn't worry about being banned. most bannings were due to idiots playing things early or early and online. stupid.

Also if a CIA failed to install, for example after 500 Mn installed... Are these 500 mb still on the SD card and use unnecessarily space ? If yes how to delete these corrupted installations ?

if he means he's updating a region free game via the eshop and it's not working, might have to find an update cia online somewhere. I had to do that many times. every game I have is updated all the way. it will say there's an update even if the cia is a different region. it just won't update though. updating will result in the update nag again.
