Hi, I dont know how to fix the error "Failed to find applicable partition!" when trying to create an emuMMC.

Someone suggested creating a patition with 32gb on the SD but I dont understand how that would work.
Do you know how I can fix this error?

"You don't need to format it. You just need to create a primary partition (raw - empty) in there. Unallocated is not yet supported."
That is the answer in the thread but I could not figure out how to do it.

The suggested 29828 size is too small. I had to use 29856 to make it work.

My SD has 400GB and is in FAT32 why does it give me this error and how can I fix it? I think i need step by step help :/

Can you boot any payloads? A black screen can mean your system is RCM patched.
Hekate has built in emuNAND creation these days, so it's easiest just to use that.

I can boot up a few payloads like, henkate, lock pick, biskeydump and such but not TegraExplorer.
Only reason Im trying to boot it up in the first place, is cause I hit the update button by mistake while trying to play a game. The screen went dark and gave me a error message of..
ERROR Fatal error: [NXBOOT] Failed to mount EmuMMC from sd card partition!
Press POWER to reboot.

So I've been trying to get EmmuMMC to boot up from my SD card, through henkate but nope.. when I do that. It shows the atmosphere logo for a slip second before showing a black screen.
Tried reformatting the SD card, and adding the latest atmosphere files to it but I get the same [NXBOOT] Failed to mount EmuMMC from sd card partition!
....error message, when I boot up atmosphere.

I figure I fuck up somewhere, cause I either get that error message (when I boot up the fuse primary payload through henkate) or just a black screen (when I launch emuMMC from my SD card through
henkate)

It's possible your SD card is going bad. Try with another one, see if you can load TegraExplorer then.

The SD I've been using is fine, but I tried using a different SD.... and same results :( Just a dark dim screen.
I think my emmc is straight up gone, cause even going in the storage setting on henkate doesnt let me me see my emmc (it just freezes the screen when I click on it) and using programs like HacDiskMount, says it cant find it either.

If you formatted the card you might have formatted the emuNAND (formatting normally in Windows shouldn't touch any extra or "unformatted" raw partitions though)
Doesn't explain why TegraExplorer won't boot though.

is it possible

What do you mean exactly by formatting the Emunand? Like re-downloading it again on my SD? Cause, Im not sure if that will work either seeing how I get the same results...

Now that I think about it...
Is it even possible to launch to emuMMC from my SD even though I hit the update by mistake and it broke the cfw?
I mean... my switch was banned long ago yet I was till getting notified to update, im not even sure If i actually updated to the latest firmware, because my goes screen goes black the moment I boot up atmosphere with that error message I mentioned early ago.

No, literally formatting it and overwriting it.
I'm not sure what's wrong in your case.

Guess I'm a rare case, cause I cant find any solution to this problem.. Which sucks, since it all started because I hit update by mistake and that's a issue alot of people seem to make when a new firmware gets release. Tired to create a new EmuMMC for my SD and I always get a black screen no matter what.

I'll try to find a solution somewhere else, thanks anyways.

I wasn't telling you to do anything.

Oh i did misunderstood what you meant then, mybad. Do you know if there's another way to recreate a new eMMC, if i did by chance, overwritten it?
Thinking back on it, I might've deleted it when I was using the HacDiskmount. Although, there's no way of knowing. Kinda limited on what I can do and see on this switch.

You can try to back up the card, delete all the partitions with Minitool Partition Wizard, make a new FAT32 partition, and then go through the emuNAND setup again in Hekate. But you will lose all your save data that was on the old emuNAND and will have to reinstall all the games. And there's no guarantee it will fix anything.

Yup did it before, decided to give it a shot after work with a different SD... no luck.
Guess im stuck with this dead wight of a switch. Oh well... I'll see that else I can do.

Will it boot without emunand? Why even have emunand if your already banned did you update emunand or official nand. From what version to what version. Have you tried completely erasing your sd card and putting vanilla atmo on it and launching it?
