Hello.. a friend of mine recently got banned out of nowwhere with a clean sysnand+EMUMMC setup. and since i have never really cared about online i offered to swap my unit for his.

My Switch has a sysnand only + atmosphere setup, and has never connected to the internet since, other than for updating firmware.

In order to give him my switch, I would need to fully restore it to stock making sure that there is not any ticket o key or anything dirty left. As far as I know, formatting from the system settings, would not clean it completely. I am right on stating that?

While googling, i came across this post from a year ago:

Its describes what i need to do, but its a little complicated and althouth I can undestand all the steps and would probably not have any issue following them, i was wondering if there was another simpler and more updated alternative.

And we now have Daybreak, and i remember that it has a "Reset to Factory Settings" option.

Do any of you know if this setting, would alse clear all the dirty inside the save folder in the nand?

Does any of you can confirm it it would work?, could I also try it, and then use goldleaf or any other homebrew to check the content of the nand, and verify it for my own?

There is no way to clean the console without a backup made before ever running CFW or homebrew.

You're going to get mixed answers. People who use SX OS will say yes while those who are against it will say no. However there are some interesting things to note. As soon as the arrests were made, people were already looking for ways to switch from SX OS to Atmosphere which shows a huge number of people who support SX OS are not confident in the continued support. Another thing to note is that the site has been going down a lot more lately than before. Lastly, and this isn't related to SX OS, but ReiNX support has officially ended making Atmosphere the only free CFW left which happened around the time of the TX arrests. Personally I think its too early to tell and we will have to wait for a new firmware update to drop to see if SX OS will continue or not.

Hey everyone, I am new to these forums.

I am aware that I've posted this question somewhere else, so, I apologize in advance:

I am having trouble reactivating my cheats; I was currently using the Tesla overlay to activate my cheats a few days ago, until yesterday.

I was trying to put a few roms on my Retroarch emulator and had a few hiccups getting my Switch to turn on resulting to me having to resort to rebooting my CFW via injection.

I had finally got the system up and running and decided to make sure that things were still working.

The first thing that I tested was indeed the Tesla overlay by pressing the L button, down button, and clicking down on the right thumbstick at the same time. But this time, it didn't work.

I've checked all of my files and re-downloaded the files and still ended up with the same results.

I am currently using the latest version of Atmosphere.


What do I do?

How do I activate it again?

I went through the file and enabled the manual cheat enabling (aka. pressing L button, down button, and right thumbstick combination), and nothing happens.


What am I doing wrong???

So i installed Incognito over a year ago now and since then have done multiple CFW updates but today i check check the serial number in Settings>System of the switch and noticed there is no serial number listed its just blank, is this normal??

Hi, I have a modded switch using RCMLoader which has worked perfectly for making an item island for animal crossing for my daughter. Now the game version has updated how do i update the game/map as my emmu is separate from standard firmware. I rebooted and updated the game on standard firware, but cant work out how i make a backup of the save file on "good" firmware to copy to emmu. (i do have jksv installed) any ideas how i update the game on modded firware, or at least upgrade maps? My daughter cant currently visit the maps as the versions dont match. (im not on 1.5.1)
Any help would be super appreciated.

1) no, just when you are entering to RCM.
2) Nothing gets affected on joy-con side. You can use any controller that works on Switch normally.

Yes, the game in emuMMC stays in emuMMC.

I added cfw to my switch years ago and back then there was only the sysnand method, despite this i believe my switch has not been banned from online and as such i would like to get my switch back to stock and then mod it again to use the CFW on emuMMC and then use sysnand to play retail games and online!

Is there a good guide to follow to allow me to do this?

This is the big question, i have a fair few backups (and im sure the guide i followed would have tld me to backup the nand) but this is the earliest backup i have......
