Hacking Install DLC on Ps Vita

hello, im new to nps browser and found some solutions for install dlc for "Silent Hill book of memory" but none of them working, really appreciated if someone give me some clue to solve it.
list of steps i done:

• Download Game and DLC with same ID By NPS Browser
• Using latest version h-encore 2
• Using latest version of VitaShell and connect by usb to my computer
• Copy App folder to root of my memory stick
• Refresh Live
• Game working without problem
• Copy addcont to root of my memory stick
• Refresh Live and "1 item add"
• Refresh Database License and "2 item add"
• when i check information of Silent hill version its same 1.01
• try to check update but nothing happen

is this a vita or pstv? pstv won't allow updates if using whitelist v2.

Look into using PKGj do it direct on your vita

Whitelist is only for Vita TV so pay it no mind

He look at the version of the game, but he copy app and addcont folder.
Just use NPS to download patch for that game to update the latest version, copy the patch folder this time.

No use PKGj as it's done for u when downloading a game patch installs right after game install

I haven't played this game before but installing DLC doesnt change the game version for any game ive ever played. You need another method to see if its installed

What whitelist is the one to use?

probably both. white list v2 is the modification of the app.db. with it enabled, updates cannot be installed. I don't even know if they work if you reenable it. the system also won't find updates via psn if it's enabled. I think around 80-90% of games work with both whitelists. the remaining 10+% require fixing a flag with the param.sfo, which afaik, is not possible currently or at least not enough is known about it. I guess that would be like whitelist v3.
