Actually I read the wholes post 3 times. You still haven't read the first post. That's 3 chances. You're not helpful. Ignored.
But OK, I'm out.
Good night and good luck.

Did you create the partition after the clean command?
It should be accesible by pressing F10, or F9.
Then, UEFI is accessible by other keys.
I happen to have both UEFI and "Legacy" BIOS. But BIOS lacks many features, so many that's basically unusble.
Try with other keys.
I'm not super familiarized with UEFI, and I know for sure that you can fix your problem with BIOS as I've installed Windows 7 Ultimate with a USB using BIOS (but that was like in 2010 and just once)
I had to google it, I've never ever read that you can "use BIOS" to format a drive. Not many. It's being quietly taken away from new laptops.
Again, I though I didn't had BIOS as using F10 brings the UEFI options, but I can get into BIOS with F8.
It's useless though, the only things I can change is the clock.
Maybe he still owns BIOS like me, and hopefully his BIOS would be actually usable.
Yes it takes that long. Depends on the size.Unfortunately yes I changed it to mbr. It's disappeared ever since. Maybe because it's SSD? I don't know.

Cool I'll try it tomorrow if it's necessary. This partition recovery is only at 19% and it's been over an hour. So it will probably take all night. Can't do anything until it finishes.
Actually... if I'm not mistaken, BIOS is the very first thing you should encounter when building a computer.I had to google it, I've never ever read that you can "use BIOS" to format a drive.
BIOS is like an OS to configure the motherboard of the PC. It should not be able to format anything.
Which computer has that option from BIOS?
Yes it takes that long. Depends on the size.
Fun story, I once killed my hard drive after literally 2 days of continous "recovery" I unplugged my tower and that killed it for good.
But I got awesome shiny Neodimyum magnets though. It's a fair trade.

Actually... if I'm not mistaken, BIOS is the very first thing you should encounter when building a computer.
This BIOS would automatically detect any drive plugged into the Mother board and install any OS from CD from there.
At least that's how it used to be as far as I know.
Again, I once installed Windows 7 Ultimate via USB using BIOS.
If you want details about mother board and stuff like that I don't know.
But I'll tell you this, it was a 40GB Hard Drive and I had 1GB of RAM...
probably going have to reinstall os, you probably didn't finish setting up the ssd through diskpart that why it is not showing up. Typically when it is uefi/bios problem when the bootable iso not showing up.
Can probably find a cracked version of ease us online but I doubt you will recover a bootable os, you just going to get it as a file at most
Looks like your SSD decided to crap out. You can use software to try to recover the data but since its not even showing up its probably not gonna help. The recovery system partition on the drive is probly useless also. Not much of a point to a recovery partition when the entire drive fails. It needs to be on a seperate disc.
You can also get a copy of gandalfs windows 10 Live. Its much better then herons boot disc. It actually runs a version of windows 10 PE off the dvd/usb flash. It will function much like regular windows 10 but you cant really install games and apps like normal windows 10. It has various data recovery tools as it is designed for data recovery.
If i was you, id replace it with a new ssd and install windows on it. SSDs are getting cheaper. You need to download a copy of windows 10 from microsoft. You can use Gandalfs Live cd to download a copy if you dont have another computer. Then either burn the iso to a dvd or use an 8gb flash drive.
Once you get up and running again. Use a backup application such as acronis true image home and make a complete backup of your drive. Then you can make incremental backups as you use the system more and accumulate personal data.
I can not stress backing up your entire c drive more then this. When you have a drive failure, you can just replace the drive and restore the data and it will be like you never had a drive failure. I use acronis true image and it has save me many times. It also lets you burn the recovery boot program on a cd/dvd/usb flash drive.
Making a full copy of your system drive is the best way to prevent this problem.
Heres a video on Gandalfs windows 10 live.
Ok good to know. It sounds like it shouldn't be too difficult to reinstall Windows if I can just recover the partition of the SSD.
Just thinking now about this... do you have warranty or something?Ok good to know. It sounds like it shouldn't be too difficult to reinstall Windows if I can just recover the partition of the SSD.

I wonder if the SSD could have came loose or something. There's no way it crapped out, it was a brand new laptop that I bought only 3 months ago. I had a bad experience opening a laptop so I won't try that with this $1000 laptop.
Just thinking now about this... do you have warranty or something?
Maybe try asking for a repair or even a new one?
If I'm not mistaken, missing partitions are normal?
I'm not sure, let me look it up.
I'm sure I've seen that same message when I open "Device Manager" in my laptop.
Yes you're right. It's not normal. I got confused.I'm not an expert but I've never heard of a missing partition being normal. It should have shown up in one of the many programs I've ran on Hiren, at least once and also the fact that when I boot the computer it says no bootable devices. It's just a dead partition now that hopefully I can recover but if not I'll have to consider other options.
Do you happen to have the "D: RECOVERY" drive?
Don't see it on Hiren anywhere.
It made D: C: but I looked in C: root and nothing. It didn't have Windows so I don't think it would have had Recovery unless I did it manually.
