Oh interesting, didn't know that. Got any further info? Which Gamecube controllers can be connected to the Switch?

Hi, I would also REALLY like this feature. But I can't help much. I only know that at least Grid Autosport and Trials Rising can use the GameCube Analog triggers.

In sx the contents are called titles the same as in reinx and Atmosphere until SciresM was given because the name titles had a confusion and a content changed it. That is, sx / title and sx / exefs_patches and reboot to load the patches.
1. We know.
2. It's not true for reinx anymore for quite some time
3. Still it won't work. You should read previous replies first before stating the same what was mentioned few times already.

I was about to try it ahhaha, it thought it would work... But I remember the patches are basically hardcoded in SX OS

Yes, I put all the contents in atmosphere/content in the sxos/title folder, it still didn't recognize my PS4 controller. If anyone got it to work on SX OS please share what OFW and SX OS version they are one. Thanks.

Thank you very much for this feature @ndeadly.

It would be awesome if this could be integrated directly into atmosphere in future releases.
You're welcome :)

As for Atmosphere integration, not my decision to make, but I doubt SciresM would ever consider it. It's not really within the scope of the project. I asked him recently about integrating just the part that would allow other homebrew to use Bluetooth properly without the controller stuff and he said it's "unlikely but not impossible" he would accept it.
There isn't really much to be gained for the end user in integrating into Atmosphere though. It only takes a few seconds to copy the release to your SD card.

True, I can just add your files to the Atmosphere folder before I copy to my SD Card when I update it in the future.

My Wii U pro controller is living again!

Do you think you can make the power button functional (for wake up/stand by) in future releases?

I think wake functions are a hardware feature specific to the console. Probably not possible without a controller mod.

I don't know if that helps, the last firmware update of the 8bitdo adapter made the feature work with the Wii U Pro Controller. Just a correction, the button to wake the console is the home button, not the power, the power button is used to turn off the Wii U or the Controller.

With those adapters you're making the Bluetooth connection with the adapter rather than the Switch as far as I know. They control the firmware so can react to whatever special packets they like. By the sounds of things they're just keeping the dongle active even when the Switch is sleeping and waking it when a controller connects and presses the right button.

Would the Wii U gamepad ever work?
Not impossible, but as @AlanLC said, it doesn't use Bluetooth to connect. I believe the WiiU acts as a kind of WiFi hotspot for the controller to connect to. Could be possible to emulate this in the future, but currently out of scope for the project.

I used to play Mario Kart 8 on the wiiU with the Wii steering wheel. I purchased Mario Kart 8 for the Switch but hate those tiny steering wheels. And NO i am not worth a crap trying to use joystick control. My question is... is there now a way to hook MISSION CONTROL up and use that to use the wii controllers with the wii wheel on Mario Kart 8 on the Switch?
