ThanksFrom my experience, you need to guarantee at least the same amount of space of the *.CIA file you are installing... So yeah, you're right... Unless there are some exceptions.
you can always use the install and delete option so technically, you would only ever need about 6gb (biggest game is somewhere around that) free. so for every game installed you're not keeping the cia file and no extra space (or at least very minimal extra is used)
I dont think games uncompress any data from cia, its just a container, and if anything does grow its very minimal in size, so keeping 6gb free would be more than enough as it would take up that space, then free up the same amount of space afterwardsTrue, but you still need to guarantee the space before the system deletes the *.cia file, as this only happens after the installation.
Thanks, I will do that.You can install a cia file over the network from a computer and then you won't need twice the space to store the file on the 3DS before installing it
