I was thinking about this while opening pikmin 2, hows does the channel switch function work? (press plus for right minus for left) Does the console have a failsafe for this where it disables the feature or something like that?

try it on the dolphin emulator you can run the wii menu with only 1 channel (the disc channel) on it although chances are nintendo put a fail safe there

I don't think I have any devices that can run dolphin, even then I don't know how to use dolphin...

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
