how are the pins on your motherboard
because if your damaged the reader pins you could have damaged to board

also take a shot in focus

I have tried ordering the SX Core on three different sites.
Aliexpress' seller is also having trouble now.
Basically I can't get it from China.
Is there a resller in a different country that ships worldwide ?

Did any of you get ur sx core via 4PX delivery?
Mine is stuck there:

4PX is legitimate. I had an order for a case and third party dock that just got delivered and 4PX was the tracking information that was provided to me.

As you can see, it does take a few business days to start moving again.

Ok I have a question or two, just want to make sure.

Do I need an sd card to install the chip? Like I can have an installer do it, and send it back soldered and I do the license and the dump nand thing myself? Or do they need an sd card to make sure it works?

This leads into question two...

I have an 512gb card now, if I want to upgrade later to a bigger sd card. Is it just drag and drop the files? I'd be using ofw and cfw, and emunand i guess? (want online on ofw safe)

I'm new to switch of course, I was big in the psp scene since launch and have done quite a bit of android flashing/roms.

I updated my switch lite to the latest firmware version accidentally. Does this mean I can’t install the SX Lite or does the latest SX OS support the latest Lite firmware?

thanks

the sd card is to confirm it gets past the boot.dat screen
also in my case when i installed i also made sure the card for the user was formatted fat32 and primat/active so it booted

if you setup the emunand as files (not partition) you cna just drag and drop to new card

psp scene was different, having to use tiff exploits pandora batteries and when i was making theme using alpha channel bmps before png support. that and using sonys dev encoder to make pmf files

So if the emunand is partitioned it's hidden from ninty?

I'd have to use a partition software(could i use windows partition or linux?) and clone the partitions to the new larger card if I did that right?

Last edited by caldeio,
you can clone it and then extend it but having it as files is more convenient and makes it easier to install/backup

If you have a steady hand it wont be a problem , the main issue is that all the videos and pictures have a huge zoom these are microsolder point and a magnfiying glass or jewelers glasses are needed to see were you aiming and if the solder has done the proper contact , i thought that i could of use the zoom of mi phone , but i was wrong .
