Hello,

I tried updating with choidujournx to the firmware 10.0.3 but after trying to boot I get the error
pkg2 decryption failed
is sept updated?
failed to launch HOS!

could anybody please what I need to do to fix this?

With best regards
Update your CFW as is evidenced when it asks "is sept updated?"

It depends if your emuMMC is file or partition based but as long as you have a copy of it, it is pretty easy to restore to your SD card.

I did the partition thing Emummc RAW 1 I do see the folder however it is like 300gb I dont really care about the games I was just going to backup my save files via checkpoint before I continue so after when the firmware flashes I just put my new CFW files and then turn it on and evreything should be good?

Is AutoRCM going to effect my fuse counts after I disable it once I'm finished upgrading? My sysnand will still be 9.1.0 but my emmunand will be 10.0.2

AutoRCM has no effect on emuMMC and emuMMC has no effect on fuses.

Okay I was confused about the Choi since it asks you to enable AUTO RCM to prevent burning a fuse I guess that only applies to SYSNAND
ChoiDujourNX was created before emuMMC and hasn't been updated in a long time but it still works well enough for its original purpose.

Thanks! I'll give it a go hopefully I don't screw anything up

EDIT: I updated to 10.0.2 perfectly it wasn't as bad as I thought my sysnand is still on 9.1.0

Okay, another quick question.
If I want to have sxos and atmosphere, do I have to do more than changing the emummc file?
Do I have to make changes to the hekate_ipl.ini file?

Hi Guys, short question: when I find an older Switch which is hackable in general, do I have to consider which firmware is installed? Or means hackable that it is always hackable?

No, you can have both SX OS and Atmosphere on one SD card.

The latter; the exploit used on unpatched consoles relies on a hardware exploit so there is no way for Nintendo to patch it via a firmware update.

I have a short question:can sys-con(way to connect xbox and playstation controllers)damage my switch in any way?
To the best of my knowledge, no.

Hey guys, ran into a bit of a problem today after updating my Animal Crossing game via local transfer. I updated the game on my homebrew Switch (running Atmosphere on 9.2.0 AMS 0.10.5|S) from my second switch for going online (10.0.3 stock) and after the update completed, the homebrew Switch said it would restart. It got stuck and hung onto a black screen for like 10 minutes with no response so I force restarted and rebooted with RCM. When I tried to boot back into the Emummc it gave me some error so I thought I would update to the latest Hekate 5.2.1 bin and RCM again.

Now I'm stuck when trying to boot into CFW Emummc it tells me in red letters "failed to apply nosigchk" and "failed to launch hos"

I have no idea what to do next. Do I need to update the system to 10.0.3 too? I didn't realize updating the game itself locally would mess up my homebrew since I did it a few times before. :/

You very likely updated to 10.0.3. Update your CFW and Hekate to their latest version and download new sigpatches.

Hello, has anyone updated cfw with matching FW from other OFW console? I have both cfw and ofw console and as cfw is on 8.0.1 I'm thinking of instead using Choi just to match 10.0.3 from my OFW but can't find on internet that anyone actually did that without problem?

That's what I thought at first but I booted into the stock system and it was still running 9.2.0. Any other way to fix without upgrading the whole system to 10.0.3?
