Sorry for the potentially stupid question, but can the maximum resolution be increased above 720p (1.0) or will this not work? Can't try this out myself yet.

Think I will play the entire game on handheld with ReverseNX set to docked mode. Do you have any recommanded settings to tweak that could be interesting in my case ?
Hi, is this config file enough or do I need some other file from the XC2 thread to apply the resolution tweak?(You mentioned something about this in an earlier post of yours) If yes, which files exactly? Sorry, I am new to this and it's confusig. Thanks in advance.
According to lib_nx.ini they are almost exactly the same as in XC2, just it has additional config lines (for example sharpening now Has two more lines) + additional cutscene tweaks.
Do these new cutscene tweaks affect the resolution (like e.g. a preset / fixed resolution for cutscenes) or only other things like motion blur? I just want the cutscenes to look as good as possible and don't really care about the rest of the game for now. Would overclocking the GPU to max (921 MHz) be enough to hit the max resolution for cutscenes all the time or would I need to disable some things like AA as well?
Thanks, I just saw this was already unsucessfully tried with XC2. Oh, well..

(OPTIONAL, first setting is Antialiasing and second one is Sharpening)
tmaa=on
tmaaNewUpScale=off
TEST 2:
Switch set to 1300/460/1600mhz
Game set with 720p as base, but scaling down to 85% of 720p when needed (dynamic resolution).
No sharpening filter, but tmaa is enabled.
Results: Runs fine, but sometimes when rotating the camera there's 1 second of stutter since it adjusts resolution. If you are okay with it it's a good experience.

tmaa=on
tmaaNewUpScale=off
Any of the tests looked miles better than the original settings. tmaa shouldn't affect too much performance, and it's more preference just like sharpening.
The test 3 works really well. Have you tried lowering the GPU and RAM OC to check if it has any impact in performance? With those values the console gets a little hot after a while and I wonder if less CPU and RAM could still work...
EDIT: ok I tried without overclocking the CPU and RAM (only GPU at 460 Mhz) and the performance is exactly the same. Why did you set those high values???
