You obviously know more about the Switch than I do, so I'll just trust you on the keys topic. Still, even if there's a viable method for dumping it, I think including them on the firmware makes life easier for users. I have no idea how (or if) copyright law applies to keys - can the keys by themselves even be considered intellectual property? And of course, different countries may have different laws.

About the es patches, yeah, I agree that something that specifically affects eshop tickets smells awfully like a piracy-specific thing, but I think the backup argument still applies. One may not have an internet connection that allows for re-downloading an entirely library if necessary (unstable, low bandwidth, data caps, etc...) and at some point in the future the servers will be shut down, so the ability to backup eshop titles may be necessary.
Shrugs All I know in regards to sharing them is that it's a Bad Idea(tm). iirc they fall under "Illegal Numbers" or whatever.

Well. Your ticket basically identifies it as your copy. If you're using a copy of a someone else's copy, it's a different copy from yours, and you're pirating.
If you're concerned about post-EoL or losing your titles, you can just backup your ticket db (or the games in general ig) occasionally :P

This is really painful to watch and I'm not even a minute in - why is he preparing the flex cables ON the f****** battery ?
Was there really no other surface where he could've done that?

But that's sadly how a lot of modders handle customer hardware.

Ask for reference pictures of their previous work before sending to consoles to strangers.

So the 2 bottom joints arent actually doing anything other than securing all to the frame?

And the only thing you actually have to simply not completly mess up is connecting the 4 joints to 2 resistors?

That seems really easy to do and actually i am pretty sure you could do that with some conductive glue or similiar if youre really scared of soldering.

But I am also sort of comparing that to the first time I soldered which were hx711 drivers, where I had to unsolder and lift a leg of the microchip and solder the leg to the gnd connection with a 1-2cm tini tiny wire.

The only thing he did quite well was pretining the contacts.. this is in my opinion the best method to solder the resistors and ground

How dirty! He didn't even take off all the thermal paste between resistors..
I'm considering reporting it to YouTube for 'Disturbing content' :-D

It's obvious that he didn't clean the surfaces properly with the amount of trouble he had soldering the anchor points.

Did they show the chip working properly? I mean, did they show the green light or the TX loading screen?

We have to assume, they didn't make their Switch useless, right?
Yes he rech the light , he just wanted to share this video that he did with microscopic video recorder

Just paid for my sx core from txswitch. Got the Uberchip refund email on Wednesday so I’m assuming refunds will be out in the next week or so.

Hello people,

Quick off-topic, I have a 5.6 W/mk thermal paste. Is it enough for the Nintedo Switch V2 or should i go with something 8.0 W/mk and above?

Thank you.
