Hello all,

I have a Switch with Animal Crossing New Horizons using sxos.
My 2 boys have Switch consoles not hacked.
Question is can i create hacks and send to them via local network (or whatever they call it)?
If possible could someone please explain how i can do this please?
My boys are buying characters from a website but im trying to save them money.

Thanks

Emuiibo can help you with the villagers thing. You get it set up, download the amiibo files off of the internet, and then you can use the ATM in resident services to invite amiibos to your campsite. You have to make a DIY that the character specifies and then invite/DIY a total of three times before you can replace one of your villagers (or use an empty slot) for the villager of choice. Repeat the process with another amiibo and you can force the villager of interest in to boxes.

OR you can use NHSE and the appropriate files (both character and house) to insert a character straight in to the game - there is a guide called "tutorial on how to use the nhse house editor for perfect villager injection" that I can't link to just yet as I don't have enough posts. You can even set them to already be in boxes using NHSE. This is probably much less time consuming.

At that point all the kids need is an open plot on their island and they can come over to yours using local connection, talk to the villager in boxes, and voila - now that character will move in to their island the next day.

Thanks.
I tried Emuiibo but with sxos it seems to crash or freeze.
I will check out the other suggestion you sent me.
My son purchased Arnold i think his name is but im trying to understand how the person created the character.
Thanks

More than likely they used NHSE or amiibos, though there is a chance that they rolled the character naturally.

Have you ever used the NHSE before? I've never used SXOS before so I'm not sure if you'll be able to use JKSV (the ACNH compatable save manager) or if there's an SXOS specific one to use. As long as you can use an appropriate save manager to back up your device save file, you should be able to pop your SD card in to your computer and follow the guide that I mentioned to insert villagers in to your game who can then be moved out to give to the kids.

The guide actually contains a complete collection of all villager files and their house files as well.

(I have 5 posts now, so I can give you a link to the guide: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutoria...editor-for-perfect-villager-injection.563202/ )

I've been able to connect my modded switch with my legit one locally with no problems at all. As long as both switches have the same ACNH update, they should be able to connect to each other.

Feel free to send me a message if anything is confusing, I've worked with NHSE and villager injection before :)

Hello im a little confused.
I loaded JSKV and did a back up of my ACNH save.
I then loaded up NHSE on pc.
I selected my save file.
Maybe the issue is because i only have 2 villagers Kid Cat + Agnes.
I selected villager.
I selected new villager and loaded nhv file.
I selected save in top left corner.
I then did edit house and selected same house for villager but nhvh file.
Again i selected save.
I moved the save file to the JSKV folder.
I then put sd card back in switch and went to JSKV and selected restore.
Nothing changed in game.
When i load JKSV i choose device saves is that correct?
Thanks
