The 60 FPS cheat freezes my 3ds all the time. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have tried the cheat via Action Replay and also the Plugin = .3gx. I have not tried it as a .plg ntr but am sure that wouldn't work either way. I really want to play neo x with this cheat because it speeds up the game. Can anyone please help?

Your game is ROM Hacked and afaik, the Pokemon cheats we have here will only work on a Non-ROM Hacked game.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also one more request besides Code of Princess - Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom
Already tried searching the FPS code for Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom but I can't find it...
There's only 30 FPS area.

The Adventure Time - Explore the Dungeon Because I Don't Know was easily found because there's multiple different FPS areas
= 20, 30 and 60 FPS

Since I'm inactive and your using the Action Replay plugin, here's a way to find the FPS code for yourself.

The game that I used in this guide is Pokemon Y v1.5

Steps;

1.) When your on a 30 FPS area (example = see Shot1.jpg) Open the plugin and go to search.

2.)Before searching;
* Set the MemRegion to 08C61000 - 08DF0000
* Set Value Type to 2 Bytes
* Set Scan Type to Equal To
* Value is Hex 102
Then Press Search (see Shot2.jpg)

3.) When search is done, go back to the game and go to a 60 FPS area (example = see Shot3.jpg)

4.) Open the plugin and search for Hex 2 (see shot4.jpg)

5.) The code should be found now (see shot5.jpg) if there's still a lot of result, go again to a 30 FPS area and search for Hex 102 or go to a 60 FPS area and search for Hex 2 again until you found the FPS code.

PS: the FPS code from Shot5.jpg should be different from yours because the FPS code from the list is not working for you right?

If you found the FPS code, the values are;

Hex 00000102 = 30 FPS
Hex 00000002 = 60 FPS

{Only works for Citra / Game runs faster.}

208EA0E4 00000000
{Only works for Citra / Game slightly runs faster.}

[Default 30 FPS]
208EA0D0 00000001

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon - Gates to Infinity
EUR 00040000000BA900
Code:
[60 FPS]
208EC498 00000000
208EC4AC 00000000
{Only works for Citra / Game runs faster.}

[40 FPS]
208EC498 00000001
208EC4AC 00000000
{Only works for Citra / Game slightly runs faster.}

[Default 30 FPS]
208EC498 00000001
Ok now I know why I can't find the FPS code before.
Because for some reason, the codes don't work on 3DS console(using CTRPF AR)

USA codes;
008EA0D0 // An activator similar to Senran Kagura 2?
008EA0E4 // Value increases by Hex 01 probably every 5 seconds when the game is running.

Now on 3DS with CTRPF AR;

008EA0D0 // when cheat is active = Can overwrite.
008EA0E4 // when cheat is active = Can not overwrite.

While on Citra MMJ, both can be overwritten when the cheat is active.

Do these codes work on the O3DS? Man, playing Monster Hunter XX and other gems at 60 fps would be the shit.

These just remove the FPS cap. They won't make your system any more powerful. Since these games were made with the o3DS in mind I figure the devs would have had them play at 60fps on the o3DS had it been possible.

But there's nothing stopping you from trying!

is there a full list of which cheat codes really make the games run at 60 FPS without speeding up and not just only making the game run at twice the speed? and if you're taking request can you try to find one for metroid: samus returns.

Has anyone got the patches to work with Luma 10.1.3 (the newest release)?
Cheat Engine doesn't seem to pick them up.
I have the cheats.txt file both in the /luma/titles/(RELEVANTTITLEID)/cheats.txt and also in /cheats/(RELEVANTTITLEID)/cheats.txt (just in case the location changed in 10.1.3 and they didn't update the wiki https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Cheat-Engine)

5.) The code should be found now (see shot5.jpg) if there's still a lot of result, go again to a 30 FPS area and search for Hex 102 or go to a 60 FPS area and search for Hex 2 again until you found the FPS code.

If you found the FPS code, the values are;

I want to thank you for this explanation. I was able to get it to work!

I'm having some issues if anyone can help? I've tried every possible version of the codes for Dragon Quest VIII to no avail. Checked a few other games (using Citra), and the codes are all working, but DQ8 (Europe) is a no-go. Anyone else got the same problem/a fix? Thanks!

How to see fps in games?
Install bootntr selector. Put fps.plg overlay file in sd:\plugin\game. Run bootntr selector and then run your game. That's the jist of it. There are plenty of guides online that show you how to do it plus link the files you need, but it's all on github anyways.
