Just to understand what's getting bans, what was your setup please to cause the ban?

I’m running atmosphere using kosmos, I think what caused the ban was connecting to a different WiFi network without properly blocking the communication to the Nintendo servers

Do you not have stealth or ingocnito on?

And did you connect to Nintendo servers in your CFW then?

Are you running an emunand?

I have never been online on the console in CFW, but I think I didn't set up the block to the Nintendo servers properly on my CFW, which resulted in the ban. I am running an emunand

Speaking of console bans, I am actually curious in what all needs to be done to prevent being banned (as best that is possible at least).

I ask because I have an R4S incoming and plan on using it with Atmosphere. I'm running on FW 10.

My use case is basically to use EdiZon for Animal Crossing. No pirating. Just for the cheat manager.

That said, I assumed just not being connected to the internet while booted into a CFW was enough, but apparently that isn't the case? I was simply going to disable all networking on my Switch when booting into Atmosphere. If the system isn't connecting to any internet at all while I'm in CFW, I don't understand how the console can be banned?

What all measures do I need to do other than disabling networking to prevent the possibility of my Switch being banned? This is my only one and stock is basically non-existent right now so I can't buy another one for the foreseeable future. So I just want to be sure.

Thank you!

Anyone here know what do you do if trying to remove unnesscary Corrupted files and folders on Micro SD emuNAND rn? I'm having alot of problem deleting unnesscary corrupted files and folder when trying to replace the new files for Atmosphere rn :/
If they are corrupted, you have to format the SD card.

I have hekate 5.0.0 and CFW 9.0.1 on emummc with kosmos. I’d like to update to hekate 5.1.4 and CFW 10.0.2. How do I do it? Do I have to start from the beginning: format the SD card, create partitions, create emummc and sysnand, install atmosphere, update with chooidujournx? Or just update the files for hekate and atmosphere, and then use choidujournx?
Just update the files then use ChoiDujourNX but CFW is still a bit unstable on 10.X

Hello, if I update my sysnand from 9.2 to 10.0.2 to keep online gaming with my legit games, would it affect my emunand's sigpatchs (also on 9.2) ?
Only if you have the patches for firmware 9.2

Using CFW & homebrew leaves traces on the console. Don't hack if you don't want to get banned.

I am on 7.0.2 want to upgrade to 10.0.2. I have 2 options

1] Restore back to my original 7.0.2, factory reset, go online (for the first time on 7.0.2) and then upgrade to 10.0.2 on nintendo server.
or
2] Use choidurNX and save my fuse and upgrade to 10.0.2

Reason for 1] would be to get clean switch upgrade.risk the ban
2] risk a crappy 10.0.2 upgrade as it is on top of 7.0.2 with lots of installs of homebrews and sig patches.

Which do u recommend?

I’ve been out of the loop for a while but I am wondering the easiest way to upgrade from 8.0.1 to a higher firmware in order to play the new SOR.

I'm looking for some advice I have a switch running 10.0.0 and ams.0.12 I installed tinfoil and the nsp to install witcher NSz file and switch prompted update required to run tinfoil I dumbly clicked yes and it rebooted switch and now I get fatal error
I tried formating sd card to no avail but still get error I reinstalled new atmospheres folders and diffrent versions but same error
I ran archive bit fix in hekate did nothing
I'm at a loss now?
Wat can I do? Initialize the switch and try again?

I recommend wiping your SD card except for the Nintendo folder then either downloading the latest Atmosphere or Kosmos release onto your SD card. As for installing .NSP files, try giving Awoo Installer a shot.

sorry this is long guys...
im trying to get atmosphere running.
I started with sx os with a hidden partition emunand. used that for a few months, working fine. would go on sysnand to play online fine.
i tried to follow this guide: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-setup-atmosphere-emummc.541060/ to get atmosphere running as well to have both to use edizon and stuff.
since i was using sx os emunand and using sysnand online i skipped the first part of tutorial. and since i already had a hidden partition i skipped the second step and went to copy files. I downloaded atmosphere and hekate files to root of sd, put payloads into the bootloader payloads folder. then i created the emuMMC folder and put in the new emummc.ini in it.

[emummc]
enabled=1
sector=0x2
path=Emutendo
id=0x0000
nintendo_path=Emutendo

i also skipped the last step transfer because it says skip if youre using hidden partition.
then from hekates main menu i merged emunand. (i see now maybe i should not have done this). but then moved my emutendo folder and renamed it as mentioned above i think. i went on my sd card to the new emuMMC/ER00 folder and renamed the Nintendo folder in there to Emutendo and moved it to the root of my sd card where it used to be. Hekate had also changed the emummc.ini so i rewrote it back to what i have above. THEN i relaunch hekate and emunand is disabled again, but i can click on it under the 'change emunand' option and it is listed as the first SD card slot. (no other sd card slot options or file options there). so emunand is back on in Hekate. i can load sx os fine in hekate by going to payloads and it launches in emunand like normal. but when i try to launch atmosphere by clicking its payload i get the splash screens for it and then black screen. i do not have kosmos, just atmosphere, hekate, and sxos.

i've tried: using hekate to fix archive bit since im using a mac and its still not working.

where am i going wrong?

Hi.
I have seen people trying to restore their Backup for whatever reason and they figure their precious Backup is corrupted. And it got into my mind. How do I make sure that my Nand Backup is not damaged or corrupted? I make full nand Backup for every update with Hekate and dump all the keys. And only keep the latest. I would really love to hear your words of wisdom and advice.

I have dumped a game from a cartridge to sd in xci format (have two xci parts on that sd card now). How can I install this xci from sd card? I read that I can use tinfoil to install it via usb. But I would like to install it from my sd card directly to the emummc. How can I do this? Or should I dump nsp files and install them? I simply would like to create backups of my original cartridges (to my hdd) and play them withouth a cartridge afterwards on my switch.

What is the standard way of dumping cartridges and installing them using atmosphere?

I have a switch 10.0.2, installed atmosphere using hekate. I have set up emummc on my sd card.

You can use either Gamecart Installer NX or Awoo Installer to install the .XCI file.

Hey guys,my Switch is on RCM and the battery is very low that it won't turn on,i plugged it on pc with TegraRCmGUI but every time i inject the atmosphere payload it's stuck on a black screen with battery indicator in red. i left it to charge but there is no way to access the main menu

@Draxzelex Thank you very much. Unfortunately, my files are not visible in awoo installer. There are two files, a .xc0 and a .xc1 file. When I browse through my folders using awoo installer, the folder containing those files seems to be empty.

2. Another question: I installed my emummc to a 64gb sd card. I would like to upgrade to a 512gb sd card later on.
How can I transfer my emummc from the 64gb sd card to 512 gb one?

3. How can I update a game, that is installed on emummc and that I do not own the cartridge anymore?
