No, this is more like a Wii U, a home console only Switch that has a Wii U Gamepad like controller that looks like the Switch, but it's just a screen and will be able to play around the house... that has to be the second screen...

A former Big N employe states Switch 2 - ? coming along with BOTW 2 in Jan of 2021 and will be a home console and feature 4k 60fps, makes you wonder what their plans will be.
Will it allow the game carts to work across both systems will it download 4k texture packs to the home system? What will it mean for the portable Switch going forward?

Makes me think it will be the WiiU 2 with the Switch acting like the gamepad but this time you can actually walk away and continue to play your games on the go

That's why is a HOME CONSOLE only, now we will have the 3, Portable, Hybrid and Home..

The home version will be more powerful also because it wont have the battery problems, more storage and so on!

without save sync this would cause outrage and people are annoyed by this already that the Switch lite doesn’t sync with saves

why will they not allow save sync like Sony/Xbox
This way you pick up where you left off on any of your systems

Well. If it is still true then I shall wait and see what it is going to be like. I am not buying it if the 3rd party supporting is not absolute and no new AAA games then I will just pass, thought.

I have a feeling that the switch is going to do what they did with the new 3DS. $399 price tag and have stronger capabilities and 4K. Without pissing off the current switch users they are just going to upscale the graphics to 4K for the switch pro. I don't really seeing them ditching the switch anytime soon it's still a fresh console maybe the next 3 years or so maybe we will get a switch 2 or something else.

Nintendo is the godfather of gaming they have been doing this since the 80's I just felt after Gamecube they just went downhill. They excel in handhelds but everything else they are behind I'm not sure what happened. They was competing side by side but after the Wii (No HDMI) they just fell behind in the race. When people buy consoles they look at exclusives and can the 3rd party games play not evreyone has the luxury to buy multiple consoles so they have to choose one. The only thing that I can tip my hat off is for the switch to be modded/jailbroken that's why I had bought mines. I know the jailbreak had enticed many people to buy a switch for just that reason. So I guess I can't complain they are the only generation to have a consistent scene.

Source? We know absolutely nothing about it besides the fact that it exists, in its current form it uses Mariko, supports 4gb & 8gb of memory, and it might have two screens (how they’re configured is completely unknown).
We have no platform config, proper device name, photos, we don’t even know if it’s actually a Switch or if they plans to ever release it.
