DaedalusX64 for 3DS official compatibility thread (REOPENED)

a spreadsheet to show off compatibility!!!

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NHMqLrprQdA6P37vmIQvR2pNKriYxCiBzuOfB-a6O7c/edit#gid=0

The box to the right of the spreadsheet shows just about everything you need to know.

Essentially, if you tested a game that hasn't been tested before, you put it as a comment inside the box for columns J-O and rows 21-23. If it has been tested before, put the comment between columns B-H to correspond to whether a game fits either of these categories:
  1. Crash On Boot
  2. Low FPS + Major Glitches
  3. Low FPS + Minor Glitches
  4. Low FPS
  5. High FPS + Major Glitches
  6. High FPS + Minor Glitches
  7. High FPS

So far I've tested the following:

Super Mario 64 - Runs fairly well

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater - crashes back to the homebrew menu

South Park - same as this

San Francisco Rush - Runs very well but with graphical issues like crazy rendering it unplayable

Top Gear Rally 2 - same as thps and South Park

I plan to test more games later today

can you be more specific? This emulator has a built-in FPS counter.

Cleaned things up a bit

All of Stealphie's responses need to be scrubbed as he thought you were referencing the PSP emulator

I'd suggest scrubbing the list to reflect the current state of the thread

More games I've tested:
Doom 64 Runs at 6FPS Max

Diddy Kong Racing Crashes to the Homebrew Launcher

F-Zero Expansion Cart Hack Also Crashes

Paper Mario Runs between 6 ~ 8FPS

Perfect Dark has Graphical issues but maintains a rather impressive 12 ~ 38FPS but drops significantly down to 4FPS on the title screen

Rush 2 Extreme Racing USA runs with no graphical issues until you get into a race, at which point the frame rate drops to a very low 8FPS, though much like San Francisco Rush it maintains a decent 35 ~ 38FPS in menus down to 10 ~ 15FPS in the car and track selection screens

Tested Smash bros and it seems that the only major issue it has aside framerate is the camera drawing distance, if too close, polys don't draw properly. Also for some reason the control goes crazy on the 1P mode selection screen.
