I have do have to laugh a bit, um, this is a new exploit ,new tool , new capabilities and is kind of a big deal maybe an all time top 5 pieces of the news the PS3 has seen. So sending them for months (as this exploit has not been released for months) to a site regarding other releases of ps3xploit.com is quite funny because that does not address the new advancements or make people aware I think that was the point of the his/her post. Instead seeing things that are not all that important for a hacking site..

I think if someone is visiting a hacking site. Exploits are a big deal and if they are live i think people rather see things pertaining to that. if it takes another site admin to post it here, i think a point is valid.. Just sayin' ... Might of been an aggressive reply but nothing said was untrue. .

Not only did i inform my audience but i had to do it here as well (if i hadn't would this even be here, its a valid question?), .
So a user saying what he did i do not think is at all out of line considering how big this news is and how the other news was not so big.. So I understand it.

This thread had 3 people post in it. even the DS has like 10's of people post in it when the smallest homebrew is released.

You talk about belittling and your insulting A VERY IMPORTANT release.. lol.. . Sorry i think i have done enough to provide you and user's here with enough info. I created a thread i left relevant info and the only thing i did not do is tag you, but kind of did more then i should of.

I dont know who are the writers here i help spread the word of release (seen it was not posted provided info.), but guy did make a good point in post 2 and you kind of make that point even more by the disregard and as you say trying to belittle something. As if its not important lol. Kind of makes the guys argument a bit more reasonable in my view.. I understand the response, dont agree with the presentation completely but i also understand frustrations.

What Flame meant to say is that the PS3 is a slow moving section compared to any given Nintendo section.
It happens that threads about releases get lost in the board.

By all means, feel free to tag one of the magazine staff of our forum!
They'll definitely put it on the portal!

Is this compatible with super slims? Last time I checked only hardware hacks were possible for them (Not that I'd ever buy such an ugly console, slim all the way).

All ps3 are hackable nowadays (all models) by software (even latest firmware )
but with different hacks depending on model

There is nonCFW models (late slims and SuperSlims) they have a HEN that quite powerful (cfw still the best)
Then on all previous models there is CFW instllations.

This tool will tell you if you can install a CFW soon as you load the page (before it could be a process on some models)
Also if you can install CFW it will modify OFW with a new exploit (4.82-4.86 OFW) that allows for a CFW install from OFW after the tool has patched the flash.
There is a number of tools/funcriotns for nonCFW consoles but PS3HEN does not install from the toolset. You would have to stil go through the separate method once you determine if you install CFW or PS3HEN
