Hi,
I've noticed that GB games always start colorized and with Super Game Boy frame.

During a game, I've found some emulator options to deactivate Super Game Boy frame, but it's not effective, even after a restart.

So my question is, how can I start old Game Boy games like in the old time, without any color and SGB frame ?

Yes how did you do it ?!?
Start your game. Press R+L to open menu. Go to Other Settings, disable "Auto SGB border" and set "Game Boy" to GB. Press B to go back and and select Restart.

Edit: Go to Display Settings and set Palette to X.

Emulator settings aren't stored persistently so you need to do it every time

Thx, that's exactly what I've did before.
SGB frame desapears but my games are still colorized :(

And it's sad that those settings aren't stored :(²

Yea, it seems that the GB mode is buggy. :(

Try to also go to Display Settings and set Palette to X. That seems to work.

Yeah I tried that too, it's working, but "difficult" to go there :\

Do you confirm that GB mode doesn't work for each games for you too ?

I don't have many GB games but the ones I tried worked ok after disabling Palette. You need to disable palette after reset.

Yes, I confirm that disabling palette works for all.
Any chance a new fiwmare/kernel to improve that...?

I assume that we are not allowed to swap GB emulator...?
Nothing prevents one from doing that as the kernel is open source. Current emulator is also open sourced so it can also be tweaked instead of changing it to something else.
