It has two partitions.

1st- FAT32 - MBR
2nd- NTFS - MBR (This is where games are located)

PS: It plays OK if I move games to the first partition.

I can't make this suggestion enough, IF you're still having issues, make sure the partition with the wbfs folder is set to Active

You need to install the exfat driver. Most applications don't support iot, but you can still use it with exfat. Fat32 is better in every way really though

Don't think you can without hardmodding your switch.
If there is anyway built in it would be in accessibility settings like on playstation.
Either way the games are gonna use nintendo buttons that you need to memorize what they mean in xbox/playstation anyway

Hello!
I just installed USB Loader GX and I inserted a copy of Wii Sports Resort to see if I could install it. It didn't work and it said that it couldn't open the disc.
There's also nothing on my screen except for the HUD.

For reference, I'm using a laptop hard drive as my USB formatted to NTFS.

EDIT: It works now {i put in the disc the wrong way} but now while installing it, its frozen and it's stuck at 20%.

Are you using a USB Stick or a USB Hard drive? USB sticks for whatever reason never worked for me. But a western digital externally powered USB hard drive worked great.

I'm using a Seagate Hard Drive that I pulled from an old laptop and connected through SATA.

That might be why my games aren't working with USB Loader GX. Everytime I try opening a game, it doesn't work and sends me back to the homebrew channel.

Format it to FAT32 with 32kb clusters. If your harddrive is really big you may only be able to go as low as 64kb clusters which should still be fine. You can also check out this quick and to the point post. It's 10 years old but I think it's still valid.

Thanks @Clutz450

I just literally now tested Nintendon't and one game using my External Hard Drive and although the Homebrew Channel does recognizes that there's a USB device connected to the console, selecting it brings a DSI Error screen.

Guess I have no other choice but to format my External Hard Drive.
Maaaaan, it's going to take a while

Hello,

Did you connect it well on port 0 of the wii ??

Format your hard drive with "" guiformat "==>http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm

Hello,

the usb keys work badly with the wii (often black screen or does not start), prefer an external hard drive FAT32 (wii and Gamecube) and everything will be fine.

Usb sticks are not expensive, but after you have problems working with wii. Many people on the forum use usb sticks and it works badly, when told to take an external hard drive, everything works fine .

In other words, they can work, but they don't always work and an HDD would be a safer bet.

Ok so its been like a year that i have been trying to play games of my flahsdrive on USBgxLoader but the outcome is always the same: after I load the game (from the USBgxloader) the screen just becomes black. So for all this time being I looked for answers a lot of people suggested to get v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52 which i did and it still didn't work. I basically tried to download all Cios suggested from the Threads. Then I saw that the problem might be my Flashdrive and it was suggested to try on a ext. HDD but sadly Im not capable to get my hands on one. But then I saw that a lot of people got their games working on Flashsdrives.
So i guess my initial question is what can I do to stop the "blackscreen problem" and how do I make sure the problem is my flashdrive or my wii.
Edit: Also To play SMG2 i need to enable the "02 error fix" but theres no option to do so.
Sorry if this question wasn't suppose to be on this thread.
