Considering the existence of an exploit that works on the latest firmware with no extra software required, I doubt anyone would attempt that outside of because why not?

Do you mean these occurances?

I always got around them by putting https://googleweblight.com/i?u= at the beginning of the URL and &f=1 at the end.

Not perfect, but it's alright for reading/browsing.

maciek12305 has made an dsibrowserhax but only crashes the DSi. It's not my work, but how would it be possible to make an exploit to run hbmenu through the DSi Browser?

Settings > Internet Settings or a failure to connect to the internet will prompt you to go to Settings.
