Hello.:)

It depends on which Emulator you want to use.
For Example GBARunner needs an GBA Bios and it has to be in the Folder _gba actual.

For GameBoy/GameBoy Color for Example you can put the Gameyob.nds where you want.

Thank you.:)

Yes,for Example Folder GAMEBOY and put the GameBoy/GameBoy Color Roms into a SubFolder, for Example GB and GBC
Please Note Gameyob makes an Config File in the Root of the SD Card if I remember correctly.please leave it where it be.:)

You are good Advised with GBARunner I think.
A Way better Solution is an GBA Emulator for your 3DS.For this you need a Custom Firmware Solution, that means modding your 3DS.:)

EDIT:

Oh,you already have it. :)

O3DS ICE WHITE [Super Mario 3D Land Pack]
boot9strap v1.3 | Luma v10.0.1 | SDXC 128GB Class 10

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Then you can use for Example mGBA:

Ok,then GBARunner is the only real Choice.
It is still in permanent further Developement from @Gericom and Friends.

- very great Game Compatibilty
- Save Function
- In Game Menu !!
- in Game Settings for additional Cache and Memory
- ARM7 / ARM9 Setting for better Speed

Very recommended.:yay:

Please be sure to keep it Up to Date.
Gericom uploads new Commits hourly.:D

For the Flashcard you can use the arm9 Build.:)

Please download all three Versions, some Game(s) may not work correctly with arm9.
You can always use the arm9 Version and if some Game has Issues, reset and use the arm7 (ds or dsi) Version instead.

Thank you.:)

If you want, Twilight Menu++ provides an all in one interface that you could use to launch a variety of applications. It works on flashcards too, but .nds compatibility wouldn't be as high as your regular flashcard

OK,then it has to do with the Kernel/Software and/or the Device.
Your Card is the "same" than mine it has the same original Kernel Software V4.0b.

You have the R4 Menu on it and you use it on an 3DS and I use the YSMenu and an DSi XL:
