I haven't posted here before so I apologize if this thread is off topic or has any other issues with it.
Either way, I was looking through the code of a couple N64 virtual console games and had come across a number of configuration files referencing N64 games that we never got. I haven't seen these documented anywhere, so I thought that I should probably mention them here. The games as listed in the code are:
  • Pokemon Stadium
  • SimCity 64
  • SmashBrothers JP
  • BioHazard2 JP
  • Blast Corp JP
  • Banjo2 JP
  • Custom Robot I
  • DRACULA MOKUSHIROKU2 US
  • DRACULA MOKUSHIROKU2 JP
  • DRACULA MOKUSHIROKU2 EU
  • Diddy Kong Racing US
  • Diddy Kong Racing JP
  • Diddy Kong Racing EU
  • taoshan
  • GOEMON2 DERODERO US
  • GOEMON2 DERODERO EU
  • GoldenEye JP
  • HYBRID HEAVEN US
  • HYBRID HEAVEN EU
  • HYBRID HEAVEN JP
  • Puzzle League US
  • Puzzle League EU
  • STAR TWINS US
  • STAR TWINS JP
  • STAR TWINS EU
  • IGGY
  • Trouble maker(U)
  • Trouble maker(J)
  • Trouble maker(P)
  • raymen 2 (this one has two separate files)
These were all found in the US versions of the DK64 and Majora's Mask Virtual Console files, specifically in "content/config"
I assume that these were all games that Nintendo were working on, but couldn't release due to licensing or other issues. I haven't tested them with injections, but I would assume that since these are official they would work really well.

Dang, we didn't get Diddy Kong Racing? Bummer!

I'm pretty sure we knew about this since 2015 because the Banjo2 JP file is what was used to inject Banjo-Kazooie to a N64 VC game... or at least thats what i did.

Weird that they had plans to release Banjo 2 apparently, but never even released the original Banjo Kazooie to the service (of course injects have retroactively made this unofficially possible).

DAMN IT! IF ONLY THEY'D MADE THE POKEMON STADIUM ONE A THING! WITH CONNECTIVITY BETWEEN THE POKEMON GBC VIRTUAL CONSOLE GAMES ON THE 3DS, SO YOU CAN STILL DO ALL OF THE LINK STUFF... GGRAAGH, I sold my N64 years back and wanna play that game again, but searching for old hardware is hard...ware. (ba dmm tss.)
