Hacking So.. I have a switch which can be patched...

Evening everyone,

I've used this page several times before to jailbreak my old DS, 3DS and 2DS and now I'm looking to do the same with my sons switch.

I've put my serial number into a website and its said I'm able to do it.

Is anyone able to point me in the right direction to do the next step please? Or even a tutorial - I want to get a SD card and load it up with many games.

Very simple to do. You can use a android phone, or PC.
You need a usb c to normal usb plug and a sd card.
Note that you WILL LOOSE OFFICIAL NINTENDO ONLINE CAPABILITIES.
Game updates etc have to be installed manually, or you can use a custom XCI file if you go the SX OS path.

Is there like a fake store like the DS's had?

Actually, you can use emuMMC with this guide: https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/
It basically clones your switch's NAND to the SD Card so you can have 2 Switches in 1 card. One for online play, and the other on Airplane mode/Incognito/90DNS for homebrew.
It requires a bigger SD Card though.

He can't play Fortnite if he's banned.
as for fake stores, I don't think I can recommend them.

The connection still goes through Nintendo servers, so if his console is banned it won't go through.

If you use EmuMMC for off-line(airplane mode)and sysMMC for legit use only + online then you shouldn’t ever get banned. No one has been band for this. I do suggest getting a larger SDcard if you can. I filled my sons “also 6” switch’s 256 SDcard pretty quick and a second SD same size 1/3rd full.

with emuMMC you really can't get banned if you play on airplane mode. No telemetry is being sent to Nintendo. with 90DNS its very likely no telemetry is being sent, as it blocks all of Nintendo's servers.

Online play is a nono but Fortnite is an exclusively online game? Doesn't really make sense. And besides Nintendo games don't allow voice chat or communication online. Fortnite does.
Anyway I suggest doing what @Skirlez said and keeping the sysNAND clean so he can play Fortnite and such on that. And removing the sysNAND launch entries from the Hekate config so he doesn't accidentally launch CFW sysNAND.

I realised that once I wrote it! Its literally the only online game he plays as you dont need a nintendo 12 month subscription. He dont know what aeroplane mode is so ill just turn it off.

Its not that at all, when I signed up over 3 years ago its not like I can remember what every rule and condition is! Probably signed up to 100 other sites sign i signed up here.


Is there a guide anywhere on how to do it via your android phone? A cable I've been waiting for still hasnt arrived but read somewhere you can do it on your phone? Same connection as the switch
