Cakes only works if you're running an older firm, of course. Which means that if something requires a higher firm to work at all, it won't work.

OK strange update to my test of Rei Six it will not boot to my sysnand which is on 11.12. But if I boot my emunand that is on 11.12 it boots perfectly. Very strange

Sorry if it's obvious, but, does this mean that the currently released version of b9sTool (5.0.1) works on 11.12 (U)?

EDIT: Working on an O2DS following the Seedminer + BannerBomb3 + Fredtool path, and thus far, I've reached the point where I could run b9sTool, but I'm not certain if I can install it safely or not.

B9stool does not work @cyberant. And @superarran5 , are you just using luma 10 or something, or was ntr cfw working before you updated, and stopped after you updated

NTRboothax works, literally impossible to patch out unless they released a revision of the system, unsure why "NTR" is listed unless you meant the NTR CFW homebrew software.

NTRboothax works, literally impossible to patch out unless they released a revision of the system, unsure why "NTR" is listed unless you meant the NTR CFW homebrew software.

NTRboot itself works, but the installer needs to be updated. The NTR listed is NTR CFW.

From my understanding, ntrboot runs at the bootrom level before any firmware from NAND is executed, so i don't think safeb9sinstaller is broken (at least when running from ntrboothax). I think only b9stool (the nds version of the installer) is broken.

so,why ntrboot would be broken? I didn't get this,i'm testing here,but the installer (safeb9) worked with the cfw here,@GalladeGuy ,wouldn't be the b9stool that is broken?
Edit: I removed the cfw and installed again,ntrboot+safeb9installer working

You're right. I moved it back into the "Works" section and added a note about what installers do and don't work.

Please Note: ntrboot has nothing to do with bootntr. Ntrboot cannot and will never be patched, it is an exploit in the bootrom and cannot be patched without replacing hardware. It is a way to flash a flashcart with a program, in the bootable manner by the 3ds. Ntrboot can be run on literally any device that can use DS flashcarts, and to install cfw on a device you flash boot9strap to it, which you use to boot safeb9sinstaller on the 3ds.

Bootntr is a homwbrew app to open ntr cfw, and bootntr needs to be updated to boot on 11.12.

b9stool is something different as well, it is a homwbrew designed to run off of a dsiware exploit. It is used to install b9s, and broke.

• However it has just updated to support 11.12 within like 15 minutes from now and can be moved to "working"

NTRBOOT is NOT related to b9stool.

On another note: Seedminer still works, Pichaxx still works, and steelhax still works.
