Hacking Black apps on home menu

i'm using rxtools on a N3ds (9.5 emunand) and i've installed some CIAs using FBI, but i ended up getting some applications with a black icon, and when i try running them i get stuck on the Nintendo 3DS screen.
I've tried going to data management in system settings and using fbi but couldn't find a way to delete them, plus i didn't want to delete things carelessly
So is there a way to remove these?

use BBM to remove titles that you don't know. high chance that you also installed stuff on the NAND.

I don't think you should be going into datamangement anyway as i've heard it can delete installed cia's and dlc's and the like.

I honestly don't remember what I personally did tyo get rid of the black apps, but I think I remember deleting them while on the home screen repeatedly, restarting the system to see if they were still there, and deleting again, repeating until clear.

You can also use something like BBM or another CIA installer to find and delete black apps.

Instead of installing the cia files to your SD card, you installed them directly to your NAND. They show up as black icons and crash the 3DS if you open them. You wont be able to remove them from data management because they wont show up there. If you really want them deleted, you can use FBI to delete them from the NAND. It's kind of risky though because if you delete the wrong cia, you can cause a brick.

Okay i am have big problem i made a cia out of system settings on my 2ds and then i installed it
and now it has gone black and a exeption happens when i open it do you Know of a way to fix this!!!???

First of all why did you do that seems a bit pointless. Anyway the reason it's not working is because sys settings needs a legit ticket to run as its a system title. When you installed the cia of it a fake ticket was installed for system settings.

Ok start FBI goto titles and find system settings. Select it and then select delete title and ticket.

Once deleted switch off the 3ds then switch it back on while holding down A+R+L+Up(DPad) keep them pressed until recovery mode loads.

Now select update system and the missing system settings will be downloaded. This will work even if you are on the latest firmware as the 3ds will recognize the system settings app is missing.

but there apears to be a black title and its region is

System settings will have the title id of 400100021000 look for it again if you still can't find it then select the black title and tell me what title id it has.

Help! So i was trying to download Pokemon Sun on my New 3DS XL and then I pressed the home menu button being brought up with an error telling me to reboot. I do that and then the blue/red light turns on. Nothing else. Just a black screen with a blue/red/ light. Can you help me fix the 3DS please!

It is hacked with FBI yes. That is what i used to attempt to install it.
