Bug fix
  • Acekard theme: Fixed `settings.ini` not being read, when used on flashcards.

Hello.:)

First,the really good News:

The Acekard Theme is FASTER then Booting a Flashcart. <3 Seconds from Power On the DSi until Menu is loading.
Very fast behavior on Navigation !! :yay:

Now unfortunately the bad News:

The Acekard Theme gives me many, many Exception Screen Errors.:(

P1060615.JPG P1060617.JPG

Mainly when I go into a Folder with many Games or Folders (like GameBoy Roms for Example)

First the Clock Freezes (the flashing ":") and then the Red Screen appears.

And another Thing:

Sometimes when I change into the Roms Folder it only show this Screen (No Roms/Folders !):

I am sorry to have no better News on the Acekard Theme.:(

Thank you for the Free Update.:)

I'm trying to use VNDB on my 3DS and I keep getting a "Guru Meditation Error!" message after loading a VN. This happens with both version 1.5.0 and version 1.5.3 (And, version 1.4.9 I cannot get to work at all, not even a Guru error). The VN I'm testing this out on is Tsukihime (Version 1.5.0 will require the version of the VN available here, and the VN version for 1.5.3 can be acquired here, the 1.4.9 pack already has it included).
Have you tried making a RAM disk?

Yes, and "Place any file and/or folder the homebrew expects there, and/or file(s) you want to use" is really specific. That's also leaving out that the smallest version of Tsukihime is over 30MB.

EDIT: Okay, it appears that this has nothing to do with the file size. Running some other (smaller) VNs still produce an immediate guru error upon loading, however this only seems to happen when using the VN packages that have sound. Using the soundless versions of the VNs doesn't produce such an error (With the exception of Saya no Uta, that encounters a guru error after showing about a dozen lines).

Also, tried the RAMdisk trick with some of the smaller VNs (So that the package is under 28 MB) and the program breaks upon start-up with a loud rumbling noise being produced by the 3DS.

EDIT 2: Found the problem! It appears that TWLMenu++ didn't like that VNDS was reading archive files (.zip files for 1.5.0, .novel for 1.5.3). Turned the ZIP files into folders and haven't encountered another problem.

Edit: Trying with the version of tsukihime you sent it crashed too, I was initially trying with the version from here where it seemed to be working

I am using 1.5.0 because 1.4.9 refuses to go past the white screen. And, like I said, you have to unpack the ZIP files, ALL of them. Attached is a screenshot of the Tsukihime download that I got from the Mega.

Also added a pic showing the archived packed (Window on the right) and what it needs to look like if you want to run the games (Window on the left).

How do you install system tiles like DS Download Play, Nintendo DSi Shop or downloaded/bought tiles like Flipnote Studio or Nintendo DSi Browser?

Now the games are more fluid, I don't see any flickering on the top screen, that was pretty sh*t lmao :P
Thanks for your work and for not forgetting DSi users :shy:
PD: Super Princess Peach EU still doesn't work, you know why? :(

Re-download the patcher, and run it again.

When I attempt to load Twilight Menu from the 3DS menu, I get this error:

"An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER Button to turn the system off. Please refer to the Operations Manual for details."

I am using Luma3DS 10.0.1, and had previously tried it on 7.0.5. I've also tried installing Twilight Menu both with the updater and manually. DS games in my cartridge work fine, and TWLFix didn't make any difference.
