I get what you mean.

Option two is a free for all section. So it doesnt matter if you werent active on discord or not. If you miss out on one of these spots, rest assured the main batch wont be too far away after this

Yes, this release is just to get the funds to order the last of the stuff for the main release or something of the like. This decision was ultimately made to not delay any longer than it already has.

If you join the Discord, you will see much more frequent and granular updates regarding the the state of the project, including what's left to do, how much has been invested, what the future plans are, etc. I understand your skepticism, especially with respect to the delays, but it's not as if the information doesn't exist.

Do remember that up until now I've been paying out of pocket for all development materials and equipment, which so far has totalled over $12k. On top of that I have a day job that takes anywhere from 40 to 60 hours of my week, plus other personal commitments. I'm just one person doing this as hobby, which is why it's taking so long.

Should be a lot more news coming on this soon, a limited early tester batch of 100 was offered up for sale today, shipping out next week. Will post as soon as I get mine. Really looking to replace my SX Pro that's just used to boot Atmosphere at this point.

Does the Dragon Kicker need to be specially installed? If I understand correctly you would be able to switch between up to three micro sd cards without removing them, in which case I couldn't imagine that functionality would be capable without a more invasive procedure; unless I misunderstood and the point of the kicker is to simply store your extra micro sd's for convenience sake, which would still be very useful IMO, but obviously it wouldn't be nearly as complicated to install.
