I updated to atmosphere 0.9.4 with sys-clk enabled and the CPU-GPU clocks are stuck in handheld mode speeds, all the games stuter pretty badly, every time I boot a game the clocks goes down and the only way to recover dock speeds is undocking-docking the Switch.

Disabling sys-clk every game work fine.

I double checked my config file and it happens even with games that are not in the list, a workaround is explicity the dock speeds in the config, but it's annoying having to configure out alot of games.

EDIT: I fixed it, it was a problem with qlaunch sticking its clock speeds into the game, that's why it always happened at first boot and not in middle of gameplay.
If you are using SunTheCourier's sys-clk-Editor make sure to set qlaunch title in dock mode speed, as reseting it will set it in handheld mode speed and carry that speed to the game.

Just get rid of your config file, it's probably corrupted now which is the source of your problem

Could someone Post Presets for Skyrim, Diablo, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Fire Emblem Threre Houses? And if a new game comes out like the new Zelda this month, how can i adjust the Clock? From there get i the number like [010038900DFE0000]? Is there an option to overclock every game automatic without mention it in the config file?
I overclocked Skyrim and turn on reversenx, but it's exactly the same than in handled mode the graphics, so it's not worthy in this particular game

I'm having an issue with my OC profiles not working on Skyrim since yesterday. All I did was update my Tinfoil/Mercury install. I'm still running on 8.1, and my OC settings seem to be working in every other game still.
However when I load up Skyrim, it doesn't seem to take my settings, no matter what I set the clocks to in the editor. I already tried setting an OC on qLaunch, as suggested a few posts back by someone with a similar issue, but it didn't seem to have any effect. Also tried deleting my config file, didn't have any effect, either.

Here is the sys-clk log for launching Skyrim. Everything looks fine to me, but I figured I should add it to try to give as much info as possible.
Code:

had you consider that skyrim its the same oc, docked or handled?
that was my impression when i tried it with sysclk and reversenx

Have you actually checked the logs if it's setting the clocks correctly or not? Some games just don't benefit as much or at all from overclocking, so it's not enough to just look at them.

I edited my comment with the log for when launching Skyrim. And yes, OCing does have a profound effect on the game, especially when heavily modded, and running it with the 60 fps tweak.
This issue is new since yesterday. Before that the game would OC fine. All I'd done is switched from Tinfoil/Mercury to another homebrew menu in that time. I tried switching back, with no success on attempting to fix the issue.

I couldn't care less about problems linked to piracy usage

Edit: Removed file.

@Dariusz if you haven't got it compiled already here is the edited and compiled file so you can bypass the 460mhz max gpu limit. It can now go up to the 921mhz gpu limit in handheld mode. (Credit to TheRadziu for helping me compile this)

In vanilla Sys-clk, you can go higher than 460mhz, if you use it with the nintendo charger plugged in. You can set the GPU clock up to docked speeds. The limits were put in place for a reason. They aren't just arbitrary limits "because this looks good."

Removed file. Totally understandable given average user won't understand potential issues with this

Given what was said above ^ I will not be distributing the file on this thread. The only thing that was modified was bypassing the hardcoded gpu limit in handheld mode. If you know the big risks that come with bypassing that. You can compile it with the source on GitHub.

How much of a difference is the strain on the battery in handheld between 1785mhz cpu, 1600mhz ram, and 460mhz gpu, and 768mhz gpu with everything else stock? Does the gpu require more power to scale frequency than the other components? Has any testing been done to determine this?

May I have the link for that file? I know and understand the risk involved. I apologize to the OP for asking for the file here, I can't seem to find the PM button.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was able to mod and compile it :) Thanks anyway.

A few analysis videos and articles were done by digitalfoundry on switch overclocking, you can check their youtube channel
