I've been using exFAT on a 256GB microSD, with a partition of FAT32 at 33GB (I've had a handful of crashes, although mostly due to editing the save files more than anything else). As for everything else, I'm running 8.1.0 with AMS 0.9.2 and had no real issues with them at all overall. I think the general consensus is that exFAT is fine but is less stable and more prone to crashes than FAT32, but I think either is fine - I have a second microSD with an exFAT partition primarily for test purposes and as a backup, I sometimes switch between the two depending on what I'm doing.

interesting .. hmm .. may need to do that as well.. if it helps game run better??..

btw , trying to find the offset for Convoy items-(it may just be also same of regular item-offset*- that was found previously..)

does it mean 0x8 is the offset or 8 + 6??

if you get any crashes when in album and they are happening all the time then you might have one or more corrupt files

i had two corrupt xci games and some corrupt folders where nsp games go but luckly they were empty folders that where corrupt.

i think main when something is not loading or taking too long and you try to quit it this could mess up sometimes

has anyone got a Final Fantasy VII switch save just before or just after beating rufus at Shinra Headquarters and only with the weapons/accessories, materia and key items that can be gotten within midgar please thanks

@kalitbartman I've not had any issues regarding the album, if you mean using the homebrew menu via the default access method of R + Album. Also, it would probably be better to ask for such a save in a Final Fantasy VII Switch thread rather than this one for Fire Emblem Three Houses.

Actually just checked and you already made a thread asking for such a save, don't know why you asked here though.

Hi guys I am new to this thread, but all I really want to know how to do is unlock the maddening mode. From what I’ve seen @officialmurky has got it working and @simsimsim seems to know how to do it now. Is there any code or whatever I can use to play it as well? Sorry if this question has been answered, just didn’t want to read through 87 pages of text.

Never thought of that like that. Interesting , this would be nice indeed.. Maybe when i can get JNoexs working and whatnot on PC then i look into this one... also Faculty and or Advanced Drill(s)..


i Agree with u on this one @officialmurky , that would be ideal.. Just wondering seems like this is sorta of same as Faculty-(speaking in terms of Codes*)..

Have been wondering for a while now , What does this Game -FETH* run better under in terms of Firmware/ micro-SD partition Format(s)- exFAT vs FAT32 partition(s)...
Mine is exFAT partition , so far, my game has Crashed few times here and there.. Been told to always stick with FAT32 ??, --
-- but if this is the case for this game to run better-(and not crash as often)- then maybe i should just reformat my micro-SD to FAT32 instead?.
emuMMC- AWS 7.0.1-(this is what i running game under)
and should i maybe get higher custom firmware as well.. or stick with 7.0.1 emuMMC??.

I'm using FAT32 because I read that's what is recommended for more stability and I've never crashed once in FETH in 120 hours (though I did get the error screen that forced me to restart the console few times when using SXOS menu). But I'm running the game on the cartridge so it may be different if your game is itself stored on the microSD. But I also have most games on the SD card and I cannot remember the last time I had a game crash (it definitely happened before, but it's been so long that I don't recall).
I'm not sure if this is because I'm running FAT32, but it may be worth a try if you're getting frequent crashes with exFAT. What kind/types of crashing are you getting? Could they be linked to the hacks/editing rather than the microSD partition format?

You can either do it through the editor or with the cheat, both are on the front page. I used the editor. So export your save onto PC, load your save with the editor, then choose "maddening" under the difficulty tab, write your save and import back into your Switch. Load the edited save, save again, and you will get confirmation that it worked when you see "maddeining" on the difficulty tab seen on your save thumbnail. The game actually recognize this change even though the difficulty is not even officially implemented yet lol.
Alternatively you can do it with the cheat code/hack provided in the cheat file. Just select the cheat for maddening and it's the same as above. Save the game and it should be changed.
I played 2 hours in maddening already and everything works as expected. Enemies are much higher leveled, all archers have poison stab and thieves can pass your shields and wreck your mages/healers in the back, etc.

sigh kinda sucks lol that the Death Knight, Jeralt, Sothis etc can be hacked into the game with them appearing in the monastery and usable in battles, but when you put two lords in the same team, the game crashes...

is there any overpowered equipment and relics in this game?

I find all the brave weapons+ to be OP, and in 90% of the cases they are better than any and everything else, including the relics. There are also relics that allow 2 consecutive attacks such as Cat's Thunderbrand and the Inexhaustible, so these are definitely awesome to have.

guys i forgot wich cheats did we need to have unlimited durability again? cuz i used weopon/magic does not decrease and it still does decrease.

Edit: ill just use the x99 1st slot since weopon/magic cheat is not workin correctly

The durability cheat is definitely wonky. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Even on the same character and weapon it will turn itself on and off as it pleases.

I would like to ask you something. I'm on Eldelgard's route and I seem to have missed something because the choice for picking my spouse doesn't appear (the day before the final battle). I remember talking with Jeralt on the tomb and later going to his room after his death, so I should "have" the ring. Also I have S support with a lot of characters.

Is there something that can be done with the editor? Maybe the game has some flag to activate that event? A save near the end of Edelgard route (wth Byleth female) would be useful too. If not I will have to redo the whole route again :S

huh for real? So far what I gathered from this thread is that having 2+ lords on the same team = inevitable crash. It would be awesome if there are workarounds. Can you please tell me how you did it for the game not to crash? Did you use the editor or the recruit anyone cheat code?

I have a save from the month before the battle, but I've edited some stuffs. You can use the editor to change them if you don't like those changes.
