@pintcat @AyanamiRei0 there is nothing than can be done about kof2003 other than put and issue in the fbalpha2012_neogeo github, the game doesn't work as intended on that core even on the nightly version of retroarch on 3ds, since the 3ds version seems to be the only one affected they probably aren't aware of it.

On the newest stable version some games lag like SVC Chaos and work perfectly on later versions.

So kof2003 is buggy, i have it running but is the 2004 with all the characters,.

They are working fine just letting this know.

Unfortunatly i ran into some issues while dl-ing roms...
I dunno where to find working roms, i tried 'fba'-roms with special endings inside the zip (.sp1 etc.) and one zip with .rom(s) but none these seem to work as i'm getting kicked out after bootscreen.
I tried the hustling site and the frozen one since the paradise doesn't offer roms anymore. Is there a site hint you could give me? Just saw a vid of shocking troopers 2 which really amazed me. Same for Last Blade 2.

I managed to ge the right roms (tested it with retroarch) but as soon as i launch the forwarder cias, my 3ds crashes with "unexpected error". The description mentions an arm11 data transition error with retroarch in the bottom line. :-/

did you enable the option in Luma that says (Disable Arm11 Exception Handlers)?

yes but then i just stopped working. Nethertheless i figure it out. My issue was that i had a non-working UniBios which caused that exception.

My bios was about 600kb in size. The one that should work is 1.4mb.
Might save someone else's time in the future

It's only for Neo Geo games since they run under the RetroArch Neo Geo emulator only, now if somebody were to create a MAME RetroArch forwarder then perhaps yeah.

I installed neo bomberman and the game just quits to the main os. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here

oddly enough, after i messaged you on the gpilot issue,
i was able to make a copy of gpilots.zip and renamed to gpilot.zip and i was able to make it lol. and it plays.

They are MAME so that's a no-no. Neo Geo only, and only certain types.
