From what I'm seeing, you're running TWLMenu++ with Flipnote Lenny.
That should not be used. To resolve your issue, please install Unlaunch+HiyaCFW here.

Hi, I have a problem, I have the latest version of TwilightMenu ++ released with the Flipnotes trick, ok so far so good. What happens is that when I use Pokémon Heart Gold (with AP-patch) for the first time, it loads perfectly and I can save the game, BUT! When I try to play it again, it appears after the introduction of the game, a blue screen that says "please press A" and my DSI v.1.4.5u restarts. And I have noticed that removing the .sav file from the game (apart from starting from scratch) works fine, until I turn off the DSI and the cycle returns. Please help!

Hi. I have a NEW 3DS XL firmware v. 10.7.0-32E. Could you recommend me the best tutorial to run DS games on the console with Twilighmenu. Do I follow the first post of the thread (it's updated)? I'm new to this so I need something that so can understand.

Thanks in advance.

Yes. If you don't have CFW installed yet, follow this first. After that, follow the first post.

Hi, thank you very much, it worked with Unlaunch and my daughter. But I also have a doubt. Is it possible to run an original Flash card (for example Pokémon Perl) from Twilightmenu?

I have recently installed Twilight Menu++ to play NDS roms on a CFW modded New 2DS XL.

I've noticed some installed NDS roms are not detected and displayed on the menu in Twilight Nenu++. Including games that were previously showing up and playable before I added more games to the MicroSD card. All games have been trimmed to save space and AP-Patched where needed.

Why is this happening and is there any way to fix?

Hi, Robz. You're doing an amazing work and I can't wait any longer for the widescreen feature. Do you have any update on the soft reset issue? The one that bricks the game when going back to the main menu, not the one using R+L+B+Down.

Please read the bottom of top screen.

Since that's low priority, it hasn't been looked into.

Thanks. Didn't realise there was more than one page of titles with a maximum of 40 per page. Accessible by pressing the L & R buttons to change pages.

Also how do you add game box art / covers. Which I assume should appear on the top screen when scrolling through the games?
There's instructions in one of the tabs in the first post. It'll have a link to the box art pack(s).

TWiLight Menu++ Ultimate (aka v9.0.0)

Starting with this build, this is a build compiled by myself, and not by TWLBot.
Has been tested with no issues on the SD card or flashcard.

Check here on how to update TWiLight Menu++.

Every major feature is here, in TWiLight Menu++ Ultimate!

What's new?
  • A new retro theme, the SEGA Saturn, has been added!
Complete with sound effects, and a theme for the settings menu (automatically set) as well!
  • Updating the recently played list, is now an option. Can be disabled to fix errors when launching a game.
  • If game is being launched from flashcard, cheats are now written to a file on the flashcard.
  • Saved the best for last here: Widescreen mode, the feature you've all been waiting for (which was thought to be impossible at the time), is finally here!
Requires a 3DS/2DS with Luma, and @Sono's 2nd (or later) release of TWLPatcher to be used, which as of this release, is not out yet.
However, you can be prepared by setting `Screen Aspect Ratio` to `16:10 (Widescreen)` in TWLMenu++ Settings, and turning on external sysmodules in Luma config menu.
To see what games are widescreen-compatible, check the respective .txt file in `TWiLightMenu.7z`.
Works with ROMs on the SD card, directly-accessible flashcards, and retail/physical DS cards as well.
Improvements
  • (@maorninja) Some code has been optimized.
  • (@maorninja) Hidden Games code has been ported to R4 theme.
  • (@maorninja) Overall filesize of `settings.srldr` has been reduced, by removing unused strings.
Bug fixes
  • Colors! v1.1 and NitroGrafx v0.7 are now booted by nds-bootstrap again.
  • Last directly launched .nds file (modern homebrew) can now be ran through the `Last-run ROM` app.
  • Acekard theme: It will no longer crash when launching a game with it's save file not existing.
  • Fixed save no# 0 being used, when resetting a game that's not using save 0.
  • Sound frequency setting is now persistent when resetting a game.
  • DSi boot sound is now high quality again.
  • Fixed GBA mode switch not working.
Regression
  • Quick Menu: Removed the stabilization for DSiWare launching.
This was done to fix/workaround an error occurring while working on this version.
You no longer need to hold L for the following games to work
  • Henry Hatsworth
  • Magical Starsign (All regions)
  • New Super Mario Bros. (Will no longer crash when launching from a cannon)
  • Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals

I'm trying to boot TwilightMenu from my flashcart, it loads ok but when I try to load a game this message is shown: "Error 1: no nds-bootstrap" or something like that. Where do I find that file?
