Homebrew Question GoldLeaf Errors :0x236e02

I have two NSP's which both give me error:0x236e02

Module: FS (2)

Description: invalid PFS0 (NSP) (4535)


on PegaScape fw 4.1

Updating to 7.0.1, since I do not use caffeine I do not know what you could do if you rely on it.

I am having this same issue. Also an ipatched switch with 4.1.0 and using caffeine + kosmos. Gold leaf cannot install more recent nsp files.

Would using tin foil solve the problem? I am quite new at this and seeing as I have an ipatched switch, I do not want to mess with it too much.

1. In order to be able to install newer NSP files, you are going to need to use an emuNAND that's on 8.1.0. Only older NSP files will work with 4.1.0.
2. I personally recommend using the DZ version of Tinfoil.

Awesome, thanks for this, Lacius. Is it safe to simply follow some youtube guide on how to setup emuNAND on 8.1.0 or are there any precautions I should be aware of?

You should not use a YouTube guide, since they are often outdated and/or incorrect. Use one of the tutorials here on GBATemp.

The main precaution is to always make sure you're using your emuNAND and not your sysNAND.

ihave ipatched consol version 4.1.0 with caffein and i can not install the new NSP.
is it possible you can explain more about how we can install those new NSP?
do i need to download again those files from different web or do i need to install those files just with TINFOIL?

You need to create an emuNAND on your SD card that you can update to 9.1.0. That way, you can keep your sysNAND on 4.1.0. Follow this guide:

When it talks about sending a payload, it means to use Caffeine. Never ever update your sysNAND. If you are going to update your emuNAND, use ChoiDujourNX, and make sure in the system settings it says you're using your emuNAND.

2. Navigate to Format for EmuMMC setup and press the power button to confirm" i i cant find this option.maybe its because the latest version doesnt work on hekate 5.0.2? I have download the version that work on my hekate version but i cant see the section sd format...i dont want to break my consol. hope to receive your help

When i payload via hekate 5.0.2 there is a black screen.
I try to payload 5.1 hekate version without success,
I have an ipatched 4.1.0 with caffein.
Maybe you have a different guide to recomend me?

i saw a few videos on youtube and after 2 days of trying i made it in success.
i created 2 partition with mini tool partition and created EMMC, copyed the relevant files and upgraded the version to 8.1.0.
now every nsp works great.

If you update your sysNAND to 9.1.0 by mistake and you burn your fuses, there is no reason to downgrade since the fuses will be burnt.

There is no reason to update by mistake.
