This does the same thing as the rei nx spoofer kip. I have this in my atmosphere title folder. This makes file browser work on Kosmos/Hekate 5.0.1 and ACID patches installed. Without spoofing I don’t get any nag while booting this or tinfoil. But only file browser doesn’t work.

It is meant to replicate this, indeed. Can you confirm that the patch does work?

I don't see how ACID patches are required for this to work. Why not change the HBL NPDM instead of doing this?

I didnt add integrity checks when patches showed up for Tinfoil, because I do not mind them. The goal is not to prevent every single unpatched kosmos user from using the app, only most of them. And if a user knows how to apply this patch or find the patched version, they are likely not the type of users I am trying to prevent from running kosmos with.

ACID patches arent required for this, as stated above. It is for enforcing a standard across the homebrew community.

@blawar Whenever I install a level using version 1.04, I get an error of corrupt data when I try to play it and the level gets deleted. Using version 1.03 I don't have this issue. Are you aware of this?

BTW, I'm running ReinX with 8.0.1 firmware.

I think it is due to this app having more DRM than tinfoil dz. Your patches seem to bypass the kosmos nag which can also be bypassed by having ACID patches. The filebrowser DRM is not bypassed by your patches though. The only known ways to bypass that DRM is to use the reinx spoofer kip or have a valid sx license on the root of your sd card.

Using a hexadecimal editor like HxD. Open your NRO file, Alt+G, type the address without the prefix (e.g. 114E8), enter, and replace the first four bytes by the four bytes after the arrow. Repeat for all patches, then save.
