Are there any current Terraria save data editors that will work with the data I've dumped from my switch? The current data from the player .plr file makes my Terraria player editor go crazy. Something with the offset being out of bounds with the data view.

If someone decides to create this, then thank you very much!

If this isn't possible, could someone see to making a Builder's Workshop for Terraria on the switch? All of the builder's workshops that I download and inject into the game don't load correctly.

While no one has made a save editor yet, you can dupe items on the Switch with Checkpoint and NX Shell.
1. Put the items you want to dupe in your inventory
2. Backup the save with Checkpoint
3. Load the game and put the items into a chest
4. Backup the save again
5. In NX Shell, go to the Checkpoint directory and copy the "Players" folder from the oldest save to the newest.
6. Restore the newest save with Checkpoint.

When you load your game the items will be in your characters inventory and in the chest.

There is another way to dupe also.

1. Put items you want to dupe in a chest. Save + quit.
2. Re enter game, loot what you want inside that chest. Save + quit BUT....
This time press the home button when the game is saving the "world".
3. On the home screen, quit Terraria. Then enter back into the game.
4. You should have everything that you looted from the chest on you character plus still inside the chest.

This happens due to the game saving the character file first (instant) and then the world file takes 35 secs to 1.5+ min (depending on how big and explored your world is), the world never gets saved because the user dashboarded out. Note: no corruption occurs as it will only save over if the world completes it's save.

Easy

Duping is pretty easy, thank you.

How did you inject them to begin with?

Checkpoint

If not a save editor, maybe someone will upload a builder’s workshop for the switch version.

How do we transfer world's and players from PC to switch?

Currently, since the offset is different, Terraria on the NX will not even recognize the files are even injected. We'd need some sort of converter to transfer files from the PC version to the NX version. Once cross-play compatibility comes, hopefully the offsets will be the same and this problem will no longer exist, but until then... nothing. Check it out yourself, however. If you find something that allows you to do this, then great. I'd love to know.

Just use a new pc save mod it and add it into a to the player folder of a dumped save to get any item you want worked for me.
