Just found your Boot Suite and I would like to test it, but didn't find some info I would like to know.

* Has the OS systems persistent storage to save custom settings?
* Are the PortableApps available on W10 Live and on the running OS as a default Usb key?
* If the PortableApps are available on the W10 Live version, is allowed to install / uninstall apps?

I extracted \medicat.v18.10.stable.7z and the SHA1 matched below are the settings I had used with 7-Zip v19.00 (x64).

You do that, and then edit main_menu.cfg to add the new entry to the menu.

I've edited the file and MediCat stopped running.

Even restoring the backup file does not start, neither pasting the boot files.

Any ideas?

Well,

USB or machine had some problems with auto boot.
Keys are added and all works fine.

MediCat is very powerful and works very good.

I apologise that I haven't gotten the new v19.04 done yet... A lot has happened to me lately in my personal life. My grandmother recently passed away from cancer. My girlfriend has ovarian cysts, and needs surgery soon. I'll be taking care of her while she recovers. And I work 40 hours a week on top of all this. The release is coming, I promise... It's just been slow since these issues came up in April.

Hello, i have some computers that only runs Mini Windows 10, and mine computer runs everything and shows the boot menu to select tools or Lubuntu the other computers aren't configured correctly in the BIOS ?

P.S: I use MediCat since the 16.04 version and it's the best toolset for me and easy to use, thank you so much for that project !

You have to set the other computers' UEFI to boot into Legacy/CSM mode with secure boot disabled. Then you'll get the menu.

A special case came up at work and I am really needing an up-to-date tool like this.

I have been trying the torrent for 48+ hours and have only gotten 25.8%, Google and Mega both report you are over your quota.

hello to all, I have a small question, did anyone encounter difficulties with medicat 18.10? I am trying to use UBCD specifically HDAT2 (the fastest HDD tester of what I saw and the most reliable), the problem is that it does not launch it and tells me "linux.32: not a COM32R image "if my memories are good, a little message below says" boot: "I tried several different solution find on the net like tab press to display the boot options the result:" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ". I try so random "live" and "syslinux" live gives nothing when syslinux he goes to the line and plants. There is also MEMDISK who tells me he can not do his job. Something must be up with your torrent client or connection the torrent has 12/63 people seeding it as you can see below. Perhaps try torrenting from another location or use a VPN, this is from a seedbox.

I'm seeding it again BTW forgot I had removed it and am uploading to someone in the US so maybe that's you they were at 50% when I started it up.

I downloaded the latest stable iso (the full one) through the torrent link you provide on the MEGA folder.

While writing it to an USB key with RUFUS, I got loads of alerts from Windows Defender. Some of them are okay, it's mostly the NirSoft utilities that get flagged since they can recover passwords. That's normal.

BUT, I also got several severe alerts for cryptominers and related trojans, which is definitely not acceptable.

I'm curious about this, but instead of poking around for myself, I'll be lazy and ask you. How did you add custom OSs?

Also, @Jayro I know it's minor, but I'm showing my support for your great project by hosting the torrents. Please @me or let me know in some way when there's a new version out so I can jump on that one too! Thanks for making such a cool tool.

Here's how you do it

If I wanted to add Bit Defender Rescue CD to MediCat can I just drag and drop the .iso file into the ISO folder or do I need to do something else? Keep up the great work. Looking forward to the next release
