Exclusive Online play for banned members Network possible

Special thanks to @spacemeowx2 at https://github.com/spacemeowx2/switch-lan-play for the tool
and @mastertwin for the tutorial

this works on all firmwares, hacked or not hacked switch, Banned or not Banned switch. game updated prefered. Mainly useful to play in community public servers.

things you would need:
-https://www.github.com/spacemeowx2/switch-lan-play/releases

1. Edit Switch Internet settings
-set IP adress to static
-make up an IP address. your unique IP can be anything from 10.13.0.1 to 10.13.255.254 (Except 10.13.37.1 because its Gateway)
-input your made up IP address at the IP address section.
-Subnet Mask stays at 255.255.0.0
-Gateway stays at 10.13.37.001
-Configure DNS primary to manual. Configure DNS primary to 008.008.008.008
if you have a hacked console and are not banned yet, use 90 DNS to avoid telemetry. 90 DNS settings are "163.172.141.219" for primary and secondary DNS to "45.248.48.62"
-Save and that is it here.

2. Download software

3. Run Software
-Install winpcap fully
-double click on lan-play.exe and copy paste public server of your choice

available public servers:
35.236.10.223:11451

189.222.60.255:11451

-press enter. it will prompt you to enter your switch's LAN "interface".

Your interface will be the option containing your PCs IP address.
To find your PCs IP address, go to start on your PC and type in CMD. In CMD type: ipconfig
-you should get something like this

You may get more than one adapters, but In most cases, computer's IP address would be found in the first one. This is the one that connects to the internet and is connected to the router. it will be in the IPv4 section.

In this case interface 5 has the same IP from earlier (computer's IP address). So 5 is the interface that must be chosen. Type 5 and press enter.

if youre having problems with this step you can try different interface numbers until the switch can later on connect to your PCs internet. Also, try resetting your computer and switch if problems persist. Its possible your PC needs a restart to fully instlall wincap

4. Connect internet on Console and verify connected to internet fully.

I've put in the 90dns and I still get the error, so I can't connect to the internet and therefore I can't connect to my PC
did you reset your PC?
also you may not be entering your interface correctly on lan play.
you need to open lan play before trying to connect to internet in the switch.
it sounds like lan play may not be working properly, you either have to reset PC or run lan play as administrator.

hi guys, for running lan-play in linux is it ok this command? sudo ./lan-play --relay-server-addr nxlan.duckdns.org:11451

In this example i want to connect to nxlan.duckdns.org server

yesterday I was like two hours helping a colleague to use lan play. We tried the npcap/winpcap, but in the switch it does not give internet access the wifi icon comes out in gray and gives DNS error we also verify that it does not it has cgnat (a relief at least) and we also check several times that it has the network data well configured on the switch. It has windows 10 64bits (his pc is connected with cable to internet that I know that wifi can cause problems) and the firmware switch 7.0 with emunand sx os 2.6. What could be happening? Is it windows or can it be your router? Could it be the switch problem? His switch in the original firmware connected him to the internet perfectly. I appreciate any intention of cooperation.

When I had any issues, it turned out it's RTFM case.
Try xlink. They have detailed manual.

Hey just a question pls. Cuphead has no ONLINE coop right ? only LOCAL coop !
so if me and my friend (in other country) got hacked switch, can we play "local" with internet wifi with Lan Play ??? (with wireless mode)

is this updated to work for smash bros with a non hacked, non banned switched vs a hacked/banned switch?
This tool is only for LAN play games meaning there is nothing to update. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate lacks LAN mode support so this tool will never work unless both consoles are hacked and using idn_mitm.kip or Nintendo adds LAN support, the latter being highly unlikely at this point of the game.

Can you risk getting banned from doing this? When they announced Mario Maker 2 wouldn't let you play with friends online but you can over wireless, I figured this would be useful.

i think you can use this along with 90dns to protect from bans

when i open lan-play-winXX.exe, and paste the server, it asks me to select the interface but none show up, all i get is enter the interface number (1-0):

I still cant connect after i put in the internet settings. Can anyone help me or direct me to something to play my switch online thru Lan-Play. Im using Atmosphere 9.3 if it means anything.

Stupid question but am I only be able to play with other people on the same server or can I play with people playing "official" as well?
