He is limited only to games with LAN mode.
You have CFW hack to convert ad hoc to LAN so this method works for game that is not designed to work this way.

Wait, can you not play local lan already with banned switches? All this does is just connect you to a server with people that are not in your area correct?

this redirects switchs lan service to "public community servers"
anyone in those servers connected can play with you.

    Can someone help me?
I had followed the tutorial literally step by step.

Went on the switches settings and changed the internet options, and i'm using the same Internet though my switch and through the PC.
    Set the IP:010.013.034.067
    Subnet: 255.255.0.0
    Gateway: 010.013.031.001
    DNS Prime: 8.8.8.8
    DNS Second: 0.0.0.0

Ran the exe, used a public relay server
After i got the "Enter the interface number (1-0)" idk why it has 1-0 does it mean i can only choose 1 or 0? but in my case it was 4 (Wifi) and tried 1 as well (Switch on same network as LAN) both options aren't working for me.

one thing i noticed is that while i have Task Manager open, after i confirm if it was 1 or 4, the .exe closes, i checked all the tasks and it doesn't seem to be running in the background, could this be the reason why it wasn't working for me?

Hey, so I tried setting a static IP address, I tried a few in the range mentioned and set DNS primary and secondary as 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 respectively. Subnet and gateway exactly what is indicated. However, I get the "Could not perform DNS name resolution" error (2110-3127). I tried connecting with automatic IP and manually enter DNS (Google's again) and it works, so the problem is the IP. I fear it might be my ISP, but I hope it isn't. Could someone help me, please? Thank you in advance.

Have you set the client up properly and connected to some server?

No, the problem is that I haven't even been able to get past the first step (which includes everything on the Switch). I did download everything on my pc. I installed winpcap. However, I am supposing that I need an IP in the range mentioned so that it will work, so I haven't even gone beyond step one, just because of the error on the Switch.

Edit: Sorry, I make stupid mistakes sometimes. I didn't understand that you connected using those modifications on your Switch AFTER running lan play on windows. I finally managed to connect with the modifications, and I am waiting right now to see if I get anyone to join my LAN lobby on MK8D (I switched from Wireless to LAN). Thanks for your help, S3phi40T. P.S. That's the only way to play online with this method, right? "Wireless" will not work right?

You have to use the kip from this thread since Smash doesn't support LAN.
