Hello everyone.

So here's my issue : I bought an ezflash omega, and received it this morning. I was extremly excited to try on my new GBA.
I install it for the first time, follow every step, install the kernel on the microSD card, install my game... I launch it, make the update. Everything goes absolutly well.
I try my first game (Castlevania) and everything is fantastic. I turn off the GBA for a few minutes, and when I turn it back on... Every file seems corrupted. Everything is either written in japanese, or absolutly broken. When I launch a game, every graphics is absolutly broken.
I try to turn it back off and on a few times, but it's always the same. Everything is corrupted.

I think well fine. I didn't play very long, no big deal if I lose a save, I'll just erase my sdcard and install all over again.
But well here's when the issues arise...
Since then, I simply cannot install the kernel ever again.
Whenever I launch my GBA, it says it cannot find the kernel.bin file at the root directory. Be it when I try to update it (pressing R when turning on) or when I just try to turn it on.

Please, I beg you, does anyone has a suggestion?
thank you very much by advance !

power up with Select key pressed, select the 2nd option, tell me what it says.
A safe mode menu appears, with options "update loader", "test psram" and "boot" !

Try cleaning the contacts of the SD Card and thw card reader.
Do you have any recommandations? With what tool can I safely clean it?

Sorry, I did the second option which was "test psram", it says "read S71 ID OK" and "read S98 ID OK"

I hope my anszer helped you. I'll be waiting for your instructions next... I'm kind of afraid to do anything on my own now tbh. Ahaha'

it looks the card hardware is ok.

did you put the newest ezkernel.bin to the root folder on the SD card( try not use 2GB or smaller). and power up by R key pressed?

Yes, yes. I did.
Weirdly, before, it loaded up a loading, then it gave a message saying "kernel not found"
When I try now, the loading doesn't even load up, I instantly have a message saying "Micro SD initial error!"
It's weird, I haven't changed anything for this to happen....

Try another SD cart, to eliminate that factor.
I sadly don't have one available rn... I'll try to borrow one from a friend in the following days. However I've already thought about it, but I don't think it could come from the SD card, I mean, when I connect it to my pc, it detects it absolutly well and there's not problem... That's kind of why I'm so lost about all this.

How can you tell that the card hardware is not ok? Is there an error message in the safe mode?

How did you go about erasing/formatting your microSD the initial time (before the problem) and the second time (after when it can't see the kernel)?

Sorry... Little update.
I'm still litteraly stuck at the same point. Exactly as in my original post. Can i please get some help?

I just tried with another SDcard, after cleaning the contact... And still exactly the same error... I'm seriously losing faith rn...
Do you guys offer a refund on your product? Or can you change my cartridge?

You still haven't answered how you're formatting the microSD card. I don't know if the EZO bootloader supports GPT or a non-existent partition, for example. It'd be nice to at least know if the problem is as simple as that.

Well I simply don't quite understand your question... !
I use a mac, the disk utility software. It is a 16gb sdcard, I format it as FAT, and that is all

I probably know where the reason is, because you use Mac, the default partition format for diskutility is GPT(GUID Partition Table), but EZFLASH OMEGA only recognizes partitions in MBR(Master Boot Record) format. you have to change the partition format to MBR and erase the microSD again.

Mhm, alright. Sorry, but how exactly could I change the partition format? In the disk utility, I can simply select FAT, but there's no other things to change
