Why don't you boot from Hekate directly, as the config is for Hekate.
I don't understand your question.
I used the ini to autoboot REINX. Didn't work.
So I launched hekate normally without autoboot and selected to launch the ReiNX payload. Didn't work.
So I tried launching ReiNX from SX OS and TegraRCM to make sure there was nothing wrong with ReiNX. Worked.

In summary, I verified that ReiNX is working correctly with the files on my sd card.
However, I cannot get hekate to launch ReiNX correctly, when launching from hekate, menu or autoboot.

Well the config is for loading directly off Hekate, not SX OS, so why not use Hekate as your bootloader, I assume you want to boot from the SX os menu.

I have an SX Pro so I have been using SX OS menu as my bootloader.
However, I generally just use ReiNX so I modified boot.dat (SX OS menu) to automatically select any payload.
I have been told that Atmosphere has special features not included in ReiNX, so I would like to be able to select Atmosphere occasionally to use special features.
So I came here with my question. It appears that Hekate can autoboot ReiNX but allows for interruption if I wanted to select Atmosphere occasionally.
Up to this point, everything is great.

My problem is I can't get ReiNX to load from Hekate. It runs the splash screen then crashes to a black screen.
It's not supposed to do that. Hekate is supposed to be able to run any payload but in the payload folder.
So I am no longer asking any questions about autboot. (Your ini was great Hayato213--Thank You!--It works perfectly.)

I am only trying to figure out why I can't get hekate to launch ReiNX as a functional payload (nothing to do with autoboot).

You tried the latest Hekate and latest ReiNX?, I mean if you are going to use ReiNX may as well use Atmosphere due to way more feature than it, I use to use ReiNX and switch to Atmosphere for one of my two modchip switches, I have one I only use SX OS pretty much due to problem upgrading the mod chip uf2.

Hi my switch is on firmware 7.0.1 and i have managed to boot hekate and backup my NAND .

Now im trying to boot atmosphere CFW but when i push the fusee payload i get the splashscreen of atmosphere then it seems to reset the console and i get the default nintendo logo then nintendo switch logo and boots into stock horizon .

My MicroSD is formatted to exfat . I have the exfat update on the switch. I am using Cosmos v.11

Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
Check your system settings. CFW doesn't look any different than stock Horizon.

hmm ok so why do people bother making the nsp available for these games?
Because most people have Nintendo accounts already linked to their console either before or after hacking it.

Hello all. I have two Switches both are on the latest firmware (though one is on 7.0.1) both were bought before the big patch and I have set up my SD card with the payloads on it of Atmosphere. I'm trying to boot one Switch into RCM mode, the other one works flawlessly with either of my metallic 3d printed jigs, but the older model (the one I originally had for BOTW and Mario Odyssey) won't even boot into RCM mode. I've made it so the jig touches both pins and I hold down volume + and lightly press the power button, but the Switch boots up normally. Before, it used to work just fine. It's not the joycon rail as connecting a controller to it, and that charges it just fine. I just don't know what's wrong with it. Since it's an older model, do you think I need to use Volume - instead? Or is there a problem I'm just not seeing?

I've tried backing it up to my computer then formatting it, and it won't work. Does it have to be exFAT or can it be FAT32?

I might do that, but I do like having the option to switch payloads should the need or preference arise.
Ok, so I don't know why this fixed the problem, but when I put atmosphere on the sd card ReiNX loaded fine from Hekate.

Maybe you damaged the joy con rail. Maybe you can try jig that use pin 7 and 10 if you are using one that rely on pin 1 and 10.

Has to boot the config probably, ReiNX and SX OS code is really base off SciresM original code.

I don't think I damaged the rail. I used the tinfoil trick and it worked immediately. I'll try experimenting with my jig.

I take the tinfoil out as soon as I get into RCM. Though, you're right. I don't want to set my house on fire just on account of using tinfoil.

Not related to your problem but quoting seems to be a bit broken.

Anyways, how did you format to FAT32? What cluster/allocation size did you use?

I think its better for you to setup CFW then update your firmware as you can update your firmware without burning fuses with a homebrew application named ChoiDujourNX. Fuses are designed to prevent you from downgrading which is useful in case future exploits are released for lower firmwares such as a theoretical untethered coldboot exploit.

Also you never install a CFW on any device that you hack.

I tried setting up Atmosphere 0.8.7 with the intent of later updating using ChoiDujourNX.
When I run TegracrmGUI> Payloads>Nekate and hit Launch I dont see any CFW option at al.....
Is it because I am currently in Firmware 4.1 or because the SD card is not FAT32? Not sure what to do

I am traveling soon and I dont mind waiting to finish this process. I wanted to play NBA2K19 and FIFA19
But I am not sure if the system will ask me for an update once I insert thegame.

thanks in advance.

There is no reason to be using exFAT on the Nintendo Switch. Use FAT32. Also what guide did you follow?

I'm on atmosphere 0.8.6 and I have AUTO RCM turned on.

While the switch is on if I hold down the power button and select power off is my switch fully powered off?
Or when the screen goes black am I actually only in rcm and the console is not fully powered off?

Since you're using a newer version of Atmosphere, your system will actually power off. However, because you have AutoRCM installed, it will boot into RCM if you power it on or connect it to a power source while off.

Going to search and see how to format it since on windows I cant see the option on windows for fat32 on a 256GB card.
As for the guide I used this one

sigh Guess its my fault for not giving you a guide which forced you to resort to using a video guide. Please for the love of everything that is high and mighty DON'T follow video tutorials as they are outdated the second they are out and aren't supported by the developers of the software they feature. I highly recommend restarting by following this text-based guide. Also for formatting to FAT32, use GUIFormat.

HI can someone lend a hand... I can't get sx os to update past 2.5.3 I'm definitely on network but says network error in red on bottom left side.. Thanks

Damn I should have made an account before hacking it... I was so paranoid about making the switch unhackable i didn't even set up the wifi on it. I presume I cannot put the switch online and make an account now? I'm not bothered about it being banned
