For anyone who was still waiting around for an update, v5.0 is done

LayeredFS isn't an installation method for TLE anymore, and I've put instructions in the OP on how to build a custom CIA from the 1.1 update with TLE.
I also posted a thread on that ISO site with a built CIA by me, but I'm still waiting for approval.

This is the full changelog for v5.0:

• DLC group friends event "Chatting with Friends"
  • If married to a character of the same gender that character will not act as if they do not live with you
  • Added individual custom dialogue where if you are dating or married to a character of the same gender they will comment on your relationship
  • Added custom responses to the player showing interest in a character of the same gender
  • Added a check based on overall friendship to determine a character's response to the player showing interest to them if single
    • If said character is at a light green flower or higher they will be flustered and gain 500 FP, otherwise they will brush off your interest as a joke
  • All 150+ additions and changes can be seen here
• Installation method for TLE is now done with CIAs not LayeredFS
  • A CIA of the 1.1 update with the base patch of TLE included in it was uploaded to "that ISO site"
  • xDelta patches of the optional patches were added for the CIA uploaded
  • instructions on how to decompile and rebuild the 1.1 update were added to the OP
• Dialogue revisions to all of Ludus' heart events and confession event
  • all instances of Ludus referring to the male player as his "little brother" are now in the trash where they belong
• Changed Ludus' light green love event's title from "Ludus' Future Wife" to "Ludus' Future"
• Dialogue revisions to Kasumi's dark blue heart event
  • female player is no longer assumed to be an accomplice to the peeping tom
• General minor dialogue revisions
• Fixed known text errors
• Fixed player's hat in Lulukoko's wedding event
• Fixed Valentine's event from hanging on a black screen after giving a gift to the player's lover
• Renamed "Alt Wedding Attire" optional patch to "Recolored Wedding Outfits"
• Changed the recolor in "Recolored Wedding Outfits" of the female player's Tsuyukusa's wedding dress from purple to pink
  • Purple recolor was moved to "Alt Recolor 2"
  • Teal recolor was renamed to "Alt Recolor 1"
• Added a pink recolor option to "Alt Recolor 3" for the female player's Lulukoko's wedding dress
• Switched Inari's wedding anniversary portraits for the "Inari Gender Switch" Patch
• Made Inari their proper height depending on their gender in their wedding anniversary event
• Updated Hamtaro Compatibility Patch to be compatible with v5.0
• Removed main menu screen's TLE version number
• Slightly edited title screen's rainbow

I thought you might have uploaded there and went searching for it, but could not find it. It was before you updated OP. I was stumped as to why it wasn't showing up. I hope they approve it soon so I don't have to go about building my own CIA.

Yeaaah, I wasn't expecting it to take this long either. There's a chance the post I made got rejected and I just wasn't notified about it, so I made an xDelta patch for someone else's upload of the 1.1 update.

I updated the OP again with another guide, give it a read! It's a less time consuming alternative to building the cia yourself.

I updated the OP again with another guide, give it a read! It's a less time consuming alternative to building the cia yourself.

I realized I didn't have a quick way to check MD5 on my machine. I did check it and it matched. Here are SHA256/1 in case someone else is in the same boat.

Yes, and use the patch in the OP on the update.

Can you tell me what parts you're having a hard time with? I can try to help you!

Edit: Forgot to mention to everyone, the thread on that ISO site is up, so you can now download the cia with tle!

Really the only reason I didn't include a combined patch for both was because I wasn't comfortable spreading someone else's hack without their permission, but I did just send a pm to ubergeek, so if he's comfortable with me doing that I'll go ahead and include some more xDelta patches on that iso site.

I still don't think I'd be able to distribute them here, though, because of copyright and whatnot

Alright I've posted some xDelta patches for compatibility with the Hamtaro hack thanks to Ubergeek77 giving me his permission! Now you guys don't have to build the cia yourself at all! It's on that ISO site for now.

I was gone for quite a while, but I do want to actually finish this hack!

Sorry you're still having issues with your plugin. If I were you I'd just get rid of the plg entirely and focus on the ctrpf text file instead. I've used it this entire time and never really had any issues with it, plus Citra supports it now too

Do I HAVE to do this xDelta thing or is that only if I couldn't get the cia from the you-know-where place? Because I have the latest download from that thread there and the 5.0.1 from this thread here, I just don't know what I need to do with either of them.

If you have the v5.0.1 download from the other site, then you don't need to download anything from this thread. Just take the cia from the other download, apply one of the optional patches if you want to, and install the cia with FBI or on citra

Gotcha. Thank you. Does the cia just need to be anywhere on the sd card so that I can find it in FBI and install it? Or is there something else I need to do? Because I'm pretty sure I installed the cia but my TLE is still 4.2 in game.

No it can be put anywhere. What does fbi's description of the cia say before you install it?

Hm, yeah, it looks fine but you shouldn't be seeing v4.2 anymore. Do you mind taking a photo of the title screen too? Try uninstalling the update and reinstalling it

definitely still see the 4.2, I know the number should be gone altogether. I'll try redownloading the update.

Oof no that didn't help. Yikes. I did Delta patch the Inari thing and the recolors onto the cia, could I have done it wrong and would that make this not work?
